I was just joking, except for the not being a mormon part. they, like all other organized religions are dispicable.

I wouldn't see anything wrong with electing a african america or an female.8 years of Bush and we in a war we don't know why we in,the economy is still horrible and you can't blame it on 9/11 anymore that was 6 years ago. I don't see any reason why wouldn't anybody would.

Well this actually works better that he's half black. I mean, half black is good so people who don't like the skin color or whatever can't be too bothered, and he's still black. It's the first step. But we still have to wait and see if he'll even run

The one thing Obama does have going for him is the under 30 voters have been turning out in better numbers than before, and the old schoolers are dying off.</div>im inclined to think that you are speaking for yourself when you reference "half of the country." why do you think you have your finger on the pulse of "half of the country" more than anyone else?I can speak for myself and my circle of friends that he has our vote.I was a big time bush supporter during the last two campaigns. but his policies and inability to follow thru on campaign promises have left me very sour. I am a conservative. but that seems to be lost these days, the bush administration has been extremely liberal in their policy. I think obama would be a little bit more even keeled. and nancy pelosi's senate agenda seems more conservative than anything ive seen recently.in the midst of world war iii, however sexist it may seem, I think hilary clinton as president would be seen across the globe as a weakness to be exploited. during these turbulent times world wide, the last thing we can afford is to be perceived as weak.rudy juliani was a great mayor and handled new york's problems with excellent poise, but I cant believe that being a mayor prepares you for the challenges at the national level.of the choices so far, I tend to think that the freshman senator obama is the most prepared for the task.

1-12/1-14Democratic NominationClinton 29%Obama 18%Edwards 13%Gore 11%Kerry 8%Republican NominationGiuliani 31%McCain 27%Gingrich 10% :wtf1: Romney 7%Pataki 3%General ElectionMcCain vs Clinton: McCain +9 (48%-39%)McCain vs Obama: McCain +5 (43%-38%)McCain vs Edwards: McCain +10 (45%-35%)Giuliani vs Clinton: Giuliani + 8 (48%-40%)Giuliani vs Obama: Giuliani + 3 (41%-38%)Giuliani vs Edwards: Edwards +1 (40%-41%)Note the last poll I found involving Gore was the week before Christmas which had him at a 1 point edge over McCain and even with Giuliani.http://pollingreport.com/2008.htm

If anyone were to win from the Republican side, I'd like to see McCain. He hates Bush and is almost a democrat :dribble: But seriously, I don't think having Hillary Clinton as the president would make us be looked at as "weak." I don't think anyone wants to F*ck with our military, I don't think they'd think we were weak. And honestly, I could care less what others around the world think of us. We need to focus on the problems at home, which I feel O'Bama and Clinton would do.

If he can do the job then let him do it. Same with Hilary Clinton, so what if someone is black, female, yellow, gay, japanese or from Mars, if they can do the job then more power to them.

If the Republicans are smart, they'd let Giuliani run because he'd definitely win. He's definitely getting my vote as a New Yorker if he runs.If not him I wouldn't mind seeing Obama or Edwards. Please for the love of god, don't let Clinton or McCain in office though. The race and gender card doesn't bother me at all, I don't care what they look like. But Hilary Clinton?! Cmon.

My nig's runnin for President! Wooo wooo! You got two votes now Obama!

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I was drawn to the power of the African American religious tradition to spur social change. [...]In the history of these struggles, I was able to see faith as more than just a comfort to the weary or a hedge against death; rather, it was an active, palpable agent in the world. [...] It was because of these newfound understandings?that religious commitment did not require me to suspend critical thinking, disengage from the battle for economic and social justice, or otherwise retreat from the world that I knew and loved?that I was finally able to walk down the aisle of Trinity United Church of Christ one day and be baptized. It came about as a choice and not an epiphany; the questions I had did not magically disappear. But kneeling beneath that cross on the South Side of Chicago, I felt God's spirit beckoning me. I submitted myself to His will, and dedicated myself to discovering His truth.[113]</div>

Political viewshttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barack_Obama#Political_views I don't agree with him on everything, but he's the right man I want leading this country.

I agree on abortion, but has little importance to me.I agree on improving domestic oil production.Agree on building a fence on the border.Don't know about Iraq.I still need to see other issues. Romney is still my person though.

Romney ruined Massachusetts..Boston inparticularRomney surely won't fix the mess Bush has put this country in..he'll make it worseI love Obama..I've been for this guy for a while..I'm so glad he's finally saying he's going to run for president and committing to it..I think this country is ready for a black president and a president who isn't a complete F*ck up

I think I know more about him than you do..he was the governer of my state for four years

Explain please...

This country would go to **** with Osama Buma Loca as president. If any Democrat would win it would be Governor Richardson from New Mexico. Not that I would vote for him or anything..But then again.. I also say no to Liberal McCain and Liberal Guliani also. Both are Republican disasters waiting to happen. My vote goes to George Allen, but after that nasty race he ran with that Moron from Virginia, I doubt he would get the nod. I dont know man.. This may be the first year I vote Libertarian across the board.. I cant take Lesbian Hillary or Osama Bin Jackson..

Mitt Romney doesn't have a chance in my opinion...Too many people don't like/don't understand mormonism. He was a hell of a businessmen though.

His name is Barack Hussien Obama, not Osama Bumo Loca.

George Allen gives me wierd vibes, he always has that stupid look on his face. His political career has taken a nose-dive.

Romeny took over the USOC in like 98, at the time the Salt Lake games were riddled with corruption, nothing was getting done and they looked like they were headed for disaster; instead he turns them around and they become one of the most profitable and best winter olympics in history. He then goes on to become governor of Massachusetts, and helps turn their ecomonical situation around. For the most part I don't like the teachings or Mormonism; but I do have to give them credit they do tend to be fiscally responsible, but at the same time they continue to support programs which most see librals support.
