Predicting the future again?
He's the only President I've ever heard say that. We did have some fears that Nixon would put off an election unConstitutionally back in the late 60s but he wasn't that stupid. Trump is that stupid. I wouldn't trust that son-of-a-bitch as far as I could throw him and he's pretty fat and pretty disabled so that wouldn't be far not even pico nor femto inches. Might as well measure the gravitational effect of Mt. Hood on a climber."Every President tries to suspend elections if they're at risk of losing, stop pretending Trump is the only one who considers that or does that." #bothsides
Name one."Every President tries to suspend elections if they're at risk of losing, stop pretending Trump is the only one who considers that or does that." #bothsides
Name one.
There has to be even a tiny bit more of a hint. Plus, I still don't understand the part about both sides unless you meant both sides and then it makes sense, wrong sense, but I could then make out what you're saying at least. You really struggle with sarcasm, Lanny! I was making fun of the point of view that some have, that anything Trump does or the Republicans do, both sides do. That's why the quotation marks and the hashtag.
Actually its mostly one side.
I thought we were talking about Presidents trying to suspend elections.
No.I thought it was overall about presidential candidates/parties not accepting defeat?
No.
Here's the complete post:

I took suspending as suspending but no big deal. Let's move on.Well considering that's blatantly not true, I took suspending as not admitting defeat.
Sounds like you’ve got your excuses all queued up. Way to be proactive. Have you tried pitching any of these theories to MSNBC? You’ve got 3 years worth of material here.
I know 5 fired generals and 73 fired NSA reps that will make damned sure that doesn't happen....contrary to his spin, he doesn't have a lot of friends in the armed forces or the pentagon at this point. Is anyone still doubting whether trump will just walk away from office if he loses? He is getting everything lined up to refuse leaving office/losing the election. It’s now a daily talking point that the election is rigged. If he loses, this country is going to be in turmoil that will make the BLM protests look like Sunday school.
That sounds great but the guy is Teflon don for a reason. While he has enemies he also has a cult following who I truly believe are willing to die for him. He’s already got people saying shit like get your weapons ready. It’ll be mayhem. As far as legally having to leave office, I think there are ways to make it really difficult to get him out and with guys like Barr around, there is no doubt they will make it a huge issue.I know 5 fired generals and 73 fired NSA reps that will make damned sure that doesn't happen....contrary to his spin, he doesn't have a lot of friends in the armed forces or the pentagon at this point.
He'll be in the bunker like the first major protest at the WH earlier this year...they'll get him easily and escort him out of office...more likely he'll leave in a huff and start a talk show on Fox
I think he'll get crushed and blabber about the media and do nothing dems and be gone....he's a fake tough guy...it's an act and not a convincing one from my view...he's done this shit since the 70s and still embarrasses himself..I don't buy any of that bluster..it's all lies...every last word of itThat sounds great but the guy is Teflon don for a reason. I hope he DOESN’T leave! I would love for him to lose and then hide out in the WH bunker and be forced out. It would be like some sort of movie!!! Bring his ass out in cuffs!
I think that would start civil unrest in many cities.
@jonnyboy thought it was crazy for me to think Trump wouldn’t leave office if he loses. Here we are months later and it’s becoming more and more clear. Trump is creating a potentially disastrous situation with his followers revolting when he loses. What pieces of shit they all are.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-a...aws.com/public/U2Z5BHQNRQI6XADUB2KDVEN7BA.jpgThe federal prosecutor appointed by Attorney General William P. Barr to review whether Obama-era officials improperly requested the identities of individuals whose names were redacted in intelligence documents has completed his work without finding any substantive wrongdoing, according to people familiar with the matter.
The revelation that U.S. Attorney John Bash, who left the department last week, had concluded his review without criminal charges or any public report will rankle President Trump at a moment when he is particularly upset at the Justice Department. The department has so far declined to release the results of Bash’s work, though people familiar with his findings say they would likely disappoint conservatives who have tried to paint the “unmasking” of names — a common practice in government to help understand classified documents — as a political conspiracy.
The president in recent days has pressed federal law enforcement to move against his political adversaries and complained that a different prosecutor tapped by Barr to investigate the FBI’s 2016 investigation of his campaign will not be issuing any public findings before the election.
Legal analysts feared that Bash’s review was yet another attempt by Trump’s Justice Department to target political opponents of the president. Even if it ultimately produced no results of consequence, legal analysts said, it allowed Trump and other conservatives to say Obama-era officials were under scrutiny, as long as the case stayed active.
I don’t think Trump will leave the office next January. Either the election will be rigged, he will win, or they’ll protest or some other shit. He won’t just go away. There is no chance. If he loses the election they’ll make something up that it’s fake results. It’ll be something.
