If NK was targeting Portland, they'd actually hit Oakland and Seattle, so....A's and Seahawks, welcome to PDX!

Maybe a multi-purpose stadium: NFL+MLB?
Much better.Just change the green and add gold.

I think St. Louis might hate on us for stealing their gateway tho.
I like the stadium idea. Not hot on the names. It has to sound like it would become a classic. All of my ideas are probably worse.Rose City Renegades

Put an MLB stadium on the river just north of the Pearl District just south of the I405.

Can't wait for my Portland Plowboys jersey!Oh I'd watch it. I just don't see what it has to do with my history. Nor do I see where history needs to be a part of naming stuff.

I'm a third-generation 9er fan, and there's no way I'd root for another NFL team. Never.
Baseball, I'm a Giants fan, but I suppose I could learn to root for a Portland team. Though I would prefer not to.
NHL, I only watch during the playoffs and Stanley Cup. Don't care about it, but I would root for a Portland team.
My father and I had season tickets to the Arena Football League when it was here. Fun games, but not a big crowd.
Are you native Portland? If so, how could you not root for your hometown?
Is there anymore information about what the OP heard about on the radio? Like who exactly is claiming they can bring an MLB and NFL team to Portland.
Greenland, man. Not Iceland, Greenland. The other day on 620, Jay Allen said it was "oil businessmen" from Japan, who were having a meeting in Iceland.
Yeah, totally sounded legit...

Sasquatches might be interesting, but probably too dorky.
I am not. My whole family is from the Bay Area. Moved up here in 1995.
