Not allowed to post on my social media, but got great footage of Jokic and the Serbs at the restaurant across the street from our hotel partying BIGTIME after their win in the Bronze game earlier this afternoon…..a let me tell you….he pulled up to collect his medal after the USA game and he was TANKED! HA! The whole team was!
 
For those who missed it, this game was closer than last game's near-loss against Serbia.

With 3 minutes left, the US was up only 3 points (3). In the rest of the game, France outscored the US 8-2 (-6). Also, with 21 seconds left and the game decided, France gave Booker 2 meaningless points (2). And not to leave out any detail, Curry went 4-4 from the 3 (12).

3-6+2+12 = 11 point victory
 
For some reason, I thought Griner was a little more athletic. She moves like Mureșan.
The USA women could lose this. France's pressure is keeping it close. They should try using Sabrina. They have no 3 pt shooting.

25 points in the first half? They are not getting any good looks.

Aja wilson played well. Plum looks better out there than Sabrina did.
 
Wilson misses the first free throw. Sinks the second one to put us in 4.
 
I didn’t know Rupert has a sister that plays for the French team.
 
Game of inches, foot was on the line. France was so close to send the game into overtime.
 
Glad we got it. What a close game.
 
It wasn't pretty but it was exciting. It was an intense game for the full 40 minutes—huge response in the 3rd after being down 10. Plum hit the only 2 three-pointers of the game in the stretch.

The US women's team will be loaded in 4 years.

Honestly I was confused on Twitter. After the game I was perusing and everyone was calling for Sabrina to play more but Plum was playing better throughout the game.

Plum played well for sure, but Sabrina didn't play as badly as you were saying. She only played 10 minutes but still had 3 assists, 2 rebounds, and a steal (which she did not credit for ) during a crucial stretch. She took 1 shot.

She was struggling to handle the ball against the pressure. She had a really nice assist, but she also had a horrible turnover.

They all struggled against France's pressure. Sabrina had 1 of their........ 19 turnovers.

Yeah, and it was a bad one at a bad time. Did you watch the game? One can struggle handling the ball, taken out of the game without committing a bunch of turnovers.

I love Sabrina and her game. This game was not impressive at all. It happens.

Yes, I watched the game and I also recorded it and rewatched the 2nd half. Watch it again starting with the USA down 5 when Sabrina entered the game. (Right after Plum's passed the ball about 10 rows deep) Her one turnover was bad, and there was another where she got trapped but passed out of it. But she looked great during the 8-0 run to take the lead.
