Iono Swish, haven't read all yet. But looks like AF has his victory in the bag, and you started off pretty strong too. I think you'll beat out Iggy. And Chutney will get Carter cuz Carter still hasn't gotten complex with his lines.
 
Aznx, good stuff man. I liked a lot of your lines and that was great for someone just starting out. I'm impressed.

I voted.

I'll be using the same criteria for every battle, that way I can tell you guys what I thought in depth, and maybe you can use it to build on your battles coming up.
 
Damn, Iggy came with a vengeance. He had a lot of play on words with some hard-hitting rebuttals. From the "lyrically impaired", to the slaughtering of cows, I was impressed. Probably the best verse of the tourney so far.
 
Thanks MrJ. You came out strong with your first verse too. That Kramer line had my laughing like crazy. You came into the battle and you hit hard.

Aight, no doubt. I might be a little busy tommorow though.
 
I thought Swish had the definite advantage after his first verse, but you've evened it up, IMO. Swish's punchlines are more noticeable, but you're are most creative (in terms of style), as you've got more multi's and better wordplay.

btw, my favourite lines so far were in AF's first rap:

It's not that it's bad, it's just basic. It doesn't help that you have to face Chutney who is one of the best rappers on this forum.

Any comments on mine?

No problem. I have a ball game in the morning, so I'll probably post my last verse in the afternoon.
 
I'm done. My last verse is short, but I'm fairly confident so I tried a more complex rhyme scheme. All yours Carter.
 
Wow, all these verses to go through. I just got home, I'm gonna peep through a couple of battles. Will be interesting to see how/if anyone improved. Although, since this is the first round, I do expect people to be a bit rusty. I'll drop comments if I have time.

Edit: Just read the AF/Gameface thread (bits and peices)...TAKE OUT THE POPULAR VOTE. It makes it confusing as hell. Let the judges (there's FOUR of them) vote. Only if there is a tie-breaker should any of the other forum members vote.

This would make things much much simpler.
