I was thinking about which pizza is better between, Dominos, Pizza Hut, and Papa Johns. I always hear a lot of people saying that they think Dominos is the best, but their pizzas are always overcooked in my opinion.

Any I am going to put up a poll and I will even add some other locations. Which do you think is the best and why?

I know some of the pizza places in the poll are local and may not exist where some of you live. If there are other chains near you that are your favorite, you can pick other and post which one.

Bro. Dominos, little Caesars, and pizza hut don't deserve to be anywhere near a best pizza list. I had so many Little Caesars pizzas in high school, college etc.

American Dream Pizza is amazing. They closed the PDX location but they still have some in Corvallis.

Flying Pie is good if you like pizza with a ton of toppings.

I've always liked Pietros. Especially their taco pizza.

Costco pizzas are decent. Especially for the price. I choose them over Dominos, Little Caesars or Pizza Hut. I also prefer Papa Murphy's over those.

The NE location was purchased and reopened. We swung by to check it out and it was just as good as the original. Then they just had a kitchen fire or something and had to close until further notice. This is definitely a Top 3 place for our family.

Flying Pie is amazing by the way!

Back in the day Denicola’s on SE Powell was a spot we would go to and was one of our faves as well.

From this list I will go with Pizzicato. Kins Artisan and Apizza Scholls are best in Portland though.

I prefer dominos over the other big chain restaurants. Their crust is pretty good for what it is lol

I like ranch pizza a lot

As far as buying chains, my family would much rather get a Papa Murphy’s from down the street than anything else. Love that place

You left out some heavy hitters in Bellagio's, Abby’s and Pietro's. All three rank above anything on your list except flying pie, in my opinion.

Pietro's has the best taco pizza!!!

All top choices but you left out the best one (ranked #4 pizza in America); Pizzeria Otto. Locations on Sandy and Foster, with one coming to Lake Grove soon. Best crust in town by far. Life of Pie and Oven & Shaker (Nostrana) are pretty damn good also.

Life of Pie is a great daily driver pizza; never once had a bad pizza from there. Red Sauce and Amalfi's, literally across the street from each other on Fremont, are fantastic as well.

I also need to add Pizza Sul Lago in Lake Oswego. They do a nice job also. And if anyone likes a cornmeal crust, Star Pizza and Dove Vive (though I like the Star better) both do it really well. And if anyone ever somehow finds themselves in Fort Dodge Iowa (low probability), Shiny Top Brewing makes a shockingly good pie. Regardless, the better half and I are unrepentant pizza snobs......and we don't mind traveling for it......

Star is really good, and if you like Detroit style, Ranch is really really good too
The best Detroit style pizza I found in the PDX is Assembly Brewing. They closed their location of Foster but I believe their Alberta location is still going great guns. Very good pizza (and the beer is good too).

It's still there. My family goes there. It's great authentic Italian food.
