There's a truck stop pizza place in Oakridge called Big Mountain Pizza that is way better than it has any right to be.

Alas, the true best pizza in town died in the 2000s (Silver Dollar Pizza; there's a Silver Dollar Pizza in town now and it's decent but totally different).

My choices

-Mi Famiglia Wood Oven Pizzeria (Oregon City)
-Flying Pie

It's still there. My family goes there. It's great authentic Italian food.

No shit? I ate there a few times when I was a younger man, back in 1978 or 1979.

Impressive longevity.

The fact that none of you bastards said the Organ Grinder is blasphemous.
I haven't even heard of that place. Looked it up and realized I was far too young to dictate if I could go there or not. So, the only thing I have to say is....

You're old. In the most respectful way.

Fair but I’m unfortunately under 50 and never had the chance. Stark Street Pizza is great for that vibe though, and they have the cracker crust like Abby’s!

I would have said it if I could remember what the pizza tasted like. I remember I used to love going there.

Honestly, you didn't miss out on much. When the best part of your restaurant is the music being played on an Organ (over silent movies), that's saying a lot.

A friend of mine used to live in that neighborhood, and we'd sneak through (while driving) their parking lot to get to Washington Street, because that driveway ended up almost right across the street from his house.

Never once did we go to the actual restaurant. Though I have been to the Pizza Baron.

I kinda like Pietros, but it was more for their salad bar than their actual pizza.

Glad to see one is still around somewhere. Different name, different owner? The idea is the same though. Not the same organ? Be hell to move.

I know the Portland Organ Grinder closed in the late 90's.

I'm sorry, but ski ball was the best part from my recollection. And that's tough to beat...

1. Pietro's in Milwaukie.
2. Round Table.
3. Flying Pie

What's wrong with Pietro's in Hood River or Gresham (twenty plus years ago)?!?

Not gonna lie, I was a little miffed when they closed the Beaverton Pietros last year.

Forgot about one of the best…..Track Town in Eugene!!!!!!

Round Table is generally good. When I was a teenager we ordered a pizza from there and I shit you not, it was completely burnt black. We had them bring another. Someone actually put that in a box and sent it out to be delivered.

I'll give a little love to Juliano's in Vancouver as my all time favorite pizza and a place I have to go to anytime I come home. Flying Pie is awesome as well, with Papa Murphys an always solid choice. Of the mega chains I'd lean to Dominos, and when they are running 1/2 off pizza like they are right now, it's tough to beat their large for less than $10.

Round Table was always a rock solid choice, as kids me and my sister would just order their bread sticks to get delivered during the summer when we were home alone. One of my best friends worked there during college and would use their bread sticks as the base for pizza instead of the regular dough and it was awesome!

This list is funny. The only correct vote is "OTHER". There are so many great pizza places in Portland. 100x better than what is on that list. But even "bad" pizza is still good IMO. I love pizza!

Vincenzo's Pizza is damn good.

I live about a mile from Juliano's. It is good. I also love Blind Onion which is also near my house, a little further down 164th.
