the lasting picture/memory i have of bayless last season was at the playoff rally....it looked like he was the only one not having fun out there, every time it was either:

1. pissed look
2. i dont want to be here
3. roll eyes
4. pissed i am starting to hate this team look

They don't have to get along to play well together, and once you realize that, you will get over it. Some of the best teams from the past used to get in fights in practice daily. I suppose you believe that all the other Blazers are go lucky, and none of them smoke pot either. I have a bridge off of Broadway I would like to sell you while we are here.

yeah sorry that post was hard to follow

get.a.life.

So how's that career with the FBI doing profiling working out for you?

sorry tired grave shifter lol

lol thanks for the edit. I think its fine, he literally is a serious all business type player, kinda reminds me of Nate honestly. I think we need some of those players on this team. Mean, Kick Ass, No Nonsense Assasins. He reminds me of Kobe too with his demeanor, which might rub people here the wrong way sorry.

The thing I find funny is why would people expect him to feel completely invested in an event like that when all of the success the team enjoyed this season had pratically nothing to do with him. If he really wasn't happy to be there (give me some hard evidence or proof beyond reading his face please), it was probably because the rally was just a reminder that he was going to be wearing warmups and high fiving his teammates in the post season and not getting to play.

Hopefully all he was thinking about was getting better over the summer and coming back and grabbing the starting position by the throat and throttling the hell out of it.

Yea you could tell going into the summer he was pretty determined. I don't know about the part though where he said his goal for summer league was a 10 to 1 assist to turnover ratio. The guys in summer league drop so many passes, even if they are good, it is pretty doubtful he would ever attain that.

Well at least that's his goal ... I'd be disappointed if he said his goal was 4 assists and 2 turnovers

eggzactly. I'd worry more if he had gone all Mark Madsen at the rally. Besides, Jerryd Bayless always looks pissed, haven't people learned that yet?

You'll need to include some pop-psychology analysis to go along with your field observations in order to make this compelling. ;)

I mean, at least the "Oden doesn't like basketball and/or Portland and/or life" folks try to illustrate Oden's thought processes for us. We need that kind of effort for this Bayless analysis.

Well you know if they reveal too much, they will be swept up by the men in black for communicating with the aliens. Better put on your tin foil cap before they get ya!

Bayless has more talent than any PG on our roster, and never played. That's why he was pissed. Nate didn't play him because he would have made too many rookie mistakes. That's both good and bad IMO. There was no way Portland was going to win a title though, so why not play him? He showed with significant minutes that he can contribute. Nate likes to avoid hurting feelings though and rarely plays rookies aver established vets.

Or is it the standing here is not helping my game look. The gym rat wants to get back to the gym so he can have a much larger role in the years to come. Bayless probably didn't enjoy being benched for the first time in a long time.
