We have a BBW draft - only active members can be drafted.Once the teams are drafted we have matchups - somewhat like a debate contest but only one post on any subject- people vote on the best post- and that team gets a point. points accumulate till one team wins (first to 3 or something) and they advance. 4 or 8 teams of 5 players shouldn't be too hard to come up with.What do you all think?
 
Would I be elgible to be picked, because as of late I've been a active member and I'm just planning on becoming more active then I've been.
 
If you guys have something like this, if you would let me, I would like to jump in on it with you guys.
 
Im all for it, I like tp debate. I think that there should be like 5 people left to vote though, and they cant participate.
 
How about you have to be an elite member or higher to be selected for the draft..That way no inactive or really new guys get picked really..
 
How many elite or higher members do we have? BALLA are you ok with this one?

Did balla approve of this or does it not really matter, This should be fun though. I'm looking forward to either be part of this or just read everything.
 
I'm interested. There's a few fuzzy details but that'll focus itself when we get to it. I think we need the go-ahead by Tony though.FUZZY? FOCUS? LMFAO HAHAHAhahaha... Anyways.

So what exactly is going to happen? I mean, try to get this thing as organized as possible, iron out all the details, etc., prior to starting it. It would be a shame if it turned out to be a debacle just because it wasn't organized well.
 
OK I guess I can organise it since its my idea, but some helop would be good. Thankjs Tony- I ran the popularity contest so I am active enough to keep this one going. I'll start the new topic now for "signing up. How many do you guys thik is enough? 10 teams of 5? or less?

ok first we get people who are interested. then randomly put them into teams. Them matchup teams and they go at it one on one- single posts, any topic(nba related) and a team of judges votes on the best post of each matchup. The first team to get 3 wins goes on. WE will need a sign up thread and a "post" thread, Possible a bracket thread too. -- make sense. And is there any volunteers to help?as far as the time line goes - I think 24-48 hours to post your "post" trhen its a forefiet
 
Clangus are you going to be the one who decides the topics for each debate? I'm still a tad bit confused. So, this is basically the debate contest with teams? I'm not getting the whole draft thing.
 
1)Are we going to have a actual draft?2)If so, who will be the "GMs" of the teams3)How many "posters" to a team?4)how long will this be? Everlasting, or just a few times?

SOMEONE PLEASE VOLUNTEER TO HELP OUT> I LIVE IN AUST AND POST AT DIFFERENT TIMES THAN MOST HERE.plus I started a thread for the nominations - who wants in?
 
Eight teams of is too much... I don't even think we have 40 active members who would want to participate in this.Maybe eight teams of three posters each or something to that extent would be a little better, but then again it all depends on how many people want to do participate.
