I can't find this on-line but it appeared in the Sunday Star Ledger Sports page 20.


On the Beat Sweepstakes

Enter today for your chance to get up close and personal with the Nets on Tuesday, April 15, when they face off against the Charlotte Bobcats in their last regular season home game.

Two winners will be selected in a random drawing to join Nets beat writer Matt McQueeny and the press corps as they cover the game. Then, we'll run their game reports in the Star-Ledger that week.

To enter, simply write your name, full address, daytime phone number and e-mail address across the top of the front page of any weekday or Sunday Star-Ledger and mail it before the April 9 deadline to:

uh oh, looks like Dumpy is ineligible as you need to be a legal resident of NJ....I found the rules on page 18 of section 10 of the Sunday classified section

OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY WHO ARE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE AS OF THE DATE OF ENTRY.

also must "reside within the Nets marketing territory as defined by the NBA (currently a 75 mile radius from the contiguous border of East Rutherford, NJ)

the sweepstakes end "at 5:00 pm EDT Wed Apr 9, 2008 when all entries must be received"

"the winners' game reports, consisting of a maximum of 250 words, will be published in the Star Ledger that week"
