Thought I'd throw out a bone for the Pokerdog and see if anyone has a Beagle or pup that might fill the gap in Sly's doghouse? I know it's a really personal thing getting attached, but some of you nerds may have Christmas pups or know where we could find some Dog swag for the Pokercaninian,,,,any ideas?

Multnomah county animal shelter is having an annual adoption sale. If you adopt a pup dec 1st its $1. Dec 31st is $31.

Here is the thing, youll fall in love with a chihuahua. Trust me.

The pound has a bunch of chihuahua mixes. Pitbulls and chihuahuas are the most common dog at the shelters.

They literally blame paris hilton. Cause she popularized chihuahuas in purses. What people dont realize is yes the small dog is cute, but its a dog so it can be an asshole sometimes. So whenthe cutness wears off they dump them at the shelter.

I looked on the Oregon Humane Society's website yesterday and they had a 25yr old horse for adoption.

I think the best of the small dogs would be the Labradoodle.....my wife had one...my favorite was a white husky I called Zeus....smartest dog I ever owned.

My grandmother had a Chihuahua that was a pincushion of psychotic behavior...I dreaded visiting her house because of that little vampire rat...when I was in Mexico a local told me in the old days they traveled the desert in packs of up to 300....my worst nightmare!

Since ours died, the neighbor cat just hangs out all day and goes back home to feed at night...not a bad arrangement

We have one cat who pesters me all the time to play with him using the laser pointer. Another that whenever I look down, he's there.

He is fixed but doesn’t act like it. SPD, you can borrow him anytime you need your leg humped.

I found two dogs are better than one. I keep them 5-7 years apart in age. The older one does a good job of training the newbie to our routines. They keep each other company and exercise each other. When I lose one, the other takes it hard, but we help each other get through it.

Well what ya know, Mrs PokerDog gave the thumbs up for a beagle, lol. Not for a while but this is a YUGE victory! A medium size dog! Sweet!

Had a beagle, pure bred with papers. Had seizures once in a while but it was morbidly obese because my wife's mom fed it fast food.

This weiner chihuahua mix is pure evil, the camera isn't responsible for the eyes.
