Right as we're getting into the teeth of the season. Would have been nice to at least be able to see how well they could fare at full strength.

I actually think Alie can be decent. He can run, throw on the run, and has nice zip on his passes. Maybe getting more reps in practice will get him to settle down. I wouldn't throw a freshman in there.

I don't know if anything is wrong with him. The reports of him being a good recruiter seem to be bearing out, which is huge. But I give the credit of this massive defensive turn around to Jim Levitt. If you have a coach that can make that much of a massive difference, on either end of the ball, just by his coaching alone, it's priceless.

I love the shit-talking. The fact that Ducks fans are even pausing to talk shit about the Beavs shows just how far the Ducks have fallen, and so quickly.

The Beavers are maybe the worst P5 team out there. Even with injuries, the Ducks still win probably 2 out of the next five as Mora is terrible and Utah has no offense outside of Carrington. But the Beavers have literally no win if they don't make a last second drive against Portland State. Anderson doesn't have a single road win in his career at OSU. I don't know what his buyout is but they should be hoping they can meet it in a year or so.

It's true that the Ducks are no longer competing for a national championship, now we are merely a good pac 12 team. I suppose that gives you some kind of pleasure. It must give you more pleasure then seeing your Division II quality team try to complete in Division 1.

I will say one thing. I still have a TON of respect for Mike Riley. To pull off his winning percentage in a place like Corvallis is a real accomplishment. He's not a great recruiter and Nebraska isn't doing him a ton of favors, but to consistently get the Bark Rodents in a Bowl Game was a major accomplishment.
