It's been a concern that we can't beat the good teams and wins over bad teams are meaningless. On the flip side, Atlanta has beaten Cleveland, Toronto, and Houston. They beat OKC tonight too. And nearly beat GS. But they're currently out of the playoffs.
 
Same with Lakers. They have beat a few great teams but they're not in playoffs either. Those wins over bad teams are what is critical succeed in the regular season.
 
I like how Pops rests his best players and makes his role players play more against good teams in the regular season..he's a master at that. By playoff time the Spurs players are ready

Except when they're not. They were booted out in the second round last year and were out in the first round the year before.

So therefore, losses against bad teams are backbreaking. We have a few.
