First, a bit of background: Evergreen State College is in Olympia, WA and is an openly liberal and and progressive college (even as far as colleges go).
What set these students off? They wanted to organize a "day without white people" and told white students and faculty to stay off campus for this day. A certain faculty member sent out an email explaining that trying to coherse a certain group of people off campus was racist.
The next day, they show up at his class, and outside the admin office, chanting things like "black power" and demanding the firing of the teacher and school administrators. They demand a meeting with the school administrator, who sits there like a nutless dweeb and takes their abuse.
Now, reportedly this group is making demands to the school admin, and says there will be violence if he does not comply. One of the demands is "no homework". You can't make this stuff up. How did our society create these morons?
I personally think they are a product of years of left-wing propoganda. It's like they have a deep psychological NEED to be oppressed and to riot against that oppression. So they manufactured it. Kind of like a bully who will bump into you and tell you you stepped on his foot so he can pick a fight.
Now the Washington Legislature is actually considering defunding this piece of shit college. I hope they do.
