I'm a cat. Not your lord and savior.

Cats are evil

Stopped when guy says "as you can imagine, all hell breaks loose"

No, I can't. Same thing with day without a Mexican.

People are all people and it shouldn't matter.

Have you seen the movie

Did you study history?
Or Comedy?

Apparently not. I was making a point that it already happened and it wasn't good. Guess you didn't note my sarcasm

You doubted it? You just got done in the other thread pointing out how obvious it was to you.
Not the same thing. I don't expect plenty of situations to occur but I certainly don't mean that once you see it start not to be wary of it.

I don't expect to open my garage and see 3 pitbulls standing there but if I do I'm getting my ass back in the house.

When I was a kid, I was walking to catch the bus one morning when a pack of dogs came out of no where. I had no idea if they were nice or mean, but they are all big dogs and so I turned and started back towards my house. They started following me. I kept my pace at first. Then they started running towards me. I ran towards my house, but knowing I wasn't going to make it, I turned my fists raised ready to pummel these dogs. In the lead was a Doberman pincher, a big mother fucker. It jumped, I cocked my fist back, then instead of biting me, It started licking me. Then the other dogs came and they were nice too. But, I was ready knock some dogs out. No offense @SlyPokerDog

When you gotta brawl you gotta brawl.

Those kids are really doing themselves a disservice and the staff that acquiesce are also doing those students a disservice. If I were a parent of an Evergreen student I would take them out. If I were a teacher at Evergreen, I would find a job elsewhere.

I do understand that it's fun and youthful and interesting to take on society and pull an "us against the world" situation which is what these kids are doing, but in this situation the kids are just on the wrong side of justice. In the end it's not going to do them any favors. Thankfully, most universities are nothing like this.

FTFN (Fixed that for Nate).

Clearly, all white people will be exterminated by Evergreen students. That is the end, for you and I.

For Evergreen, just the beginning.

You are joking right?

I mean you are not ignorant to how quickly things can domino are you?

I am not saying it was a positive or negative thing, but see how quickly the black lives matter movement grew?

You do not think it should be a legit concern that this might sweep across colleges causing potential standoffs?

did we not go through this once as a nation already in a reverse manner and learn our lessons? Now you are saying its no big deal if it starts happening again?

I'm not saying arrest these people, but they definitely need to be educated. And the most concerning is they are college students. They are supposed to be educated already... enough to see past this ans have a more long term thought process regarding their actions.

This millennial kid at work is super slow at math and taking directions. He's got a great sense of humor and is very quick witted with as Fez would say Uh BURN.

He told me how they taught him multiplication in school because I challenged him to do some I wrote on a parts box. He had to think about them and eventually got them right. I blame the schools.

I'm normally more on the "Libral" side of the equation but I believe very strongly in schools being a place of open discussion and idea exploration.

I have no problem with this group of students voicing their opinions and exploring the depths of racism. But I listened to the professor and he is simply a thoughtful and considered man who is the students are trying to silence. Let the discussion happen, this is exactly where these conversations should take place. But shutting down the professor is not a conversation and does nothing to further the ideals of what s liberal arts education should be.

I feel bad that these students have been given such free reign that they no longer care about conversing, just about ruling.

I suggest that anyone wanting a more in depth understanding listen to Joe Rogans recent podcast with the professor. It's a 3 hour conversation and you get s very deep view inside the subject. Granted, it's only from one side and I would like to hear the students reasoned responses, because I'm sure there must be some bright thoughtful students in the mix. But the Rogan podcast was sufficient for me to conclude that the professor is not a racist and is being maligned.

On another note, listen to both podcasts with Jordan Peterson. Another professor, from Canada who refuses to call these students by their pronouns and has gotten similar backlash

I listened to that one too, it was a little less clear cut but very interesting.

I haven't caught the podcasts but I saw a lot of the Petersen thing when it was big on youtube. Just reminded me of Pee Wee arguing with the fat guy.

Can't Make me!!!!!!!! and so on.

Oh, sure. But compared to say, electing Trump, I don't think this is a big national concern.

I think it should be. Behavior like this is happening all across universities but I mean yeah sure fuck free speech and let's make up pronouns and other things you have to abide by. It most definitely should be a national concern

Very few things have the national importance as the presidency. However, that does not mean that below that threshold is importance.

I don't worry at all about those protesting students, that par for the youthfully rebellious course. However, it is truly disheartening to see the staff and faculty shy away from the fundamental pillar of equality on such a campus. I hope this is a solitary incident, but I worry it is not. I look to schools as being bastions of free speech and inclusiveness.

I think it's kinda hilarious that people point to Trump as the source of problems. The guy may be an incompetent asshat, but there are problems that have been festering beneath the surface long before he put his hat in the ring.

Don't confuse this as support for the man, I think he is completely unfit to be president.

Good Lord the voice of reason arrived. Unless covfefe is a code name for a time machine.

He's the symptom of some problems, but the source of some new ones.

Dumbest statement ever. People....decent, law-abiding people...have been tired of this Left-enabled nonsense for years now. All Trump did was give a national voice to those of us whom are tired of it.

Have you actually compared it to my various other posts that were labeled 'dumbest ever'? I'm not saying you are wrong, but everyone can't be right about it.

barfo

Timing matters.

It is possible that my posts have been monotonically dumber as time goes on. If so, then someone will surely point out that this is the dumbest post ever.

But then they'll be agreeing with the post and saying it's the dumbest ever. It's a conundrum wrapped in bacon, it is.
