Is that OSU sold less than 1/10 of the tickets for their bowl game vs what Oregon sold

Close estimates coming in around 900 OSU tickets sold vs currently 9,100 for Oregon - with another week for Oregon to reach 10,000+.

Wow.

Oh, but Hawaii is so far? About 2500 miles. A Eugene drive to San Antone 2200+ miles. Flights are within $250 of each other. A pittance, really.

Duck fans step up to a somewhat disappointing season and support the team.
900 Beav fans...

I wonder how many tickets the smurfs sold.

Go OSU kids. Sorry your fans are lame.

What does the mileage have to do with anything? Provide how much it costs to fly to Hawaii and get a hotel compared to san Antonio.

ding ding ding ding ding.

Also one is on Christmas Eve, the other is 5 days after Christmas

Also not sure what the crap this has to do with the Ducks

Also hookers in San Antonio only cost about 1/4 of what they do in Hawaii.

Okay Targus is getting out of hand now.

We won our bowl game. Let's see if you can do the same.

Nice win for the unsupported! Good job!

As the post said, air tickets weren't that different in price.

Sad state of affairs in Corvallis and for the boys in Orange when 900 folks travel to their bowl game. A historic low?

$250 per ticket?

$250 per ticket?

I'm a little confused as well.. a drive from Eugene to San Antonio is the equivelant (Everyone in the same car) as buying multiple plane tickets to Honolulu?

Targus better post pics of his trip to San Antonio.

I'm not going to San Antonio. First bowl game missed in over a decade. :( I've been sharing for weeks that I'll miss this year.

Not sure how many professionals plan on jamming into a car to road trip 2500 miles. Not ideal to busy schedules, families, professional demands or even comfort/productivity. However, the difference in airfare was a mere $250 per ticket - PDX to Hon vs SA.

900 fans? Ouch. The efforts of the production team during the game to not show all the empty seats is the stuff of legends. :)

OSU fans cracking on the Ducks is amusing. What's next, PSU cracking on the Beavs? Western Oregon cracking on PSU. Linfield cracking on WOU?

After what the Oregon Ducks have done the past five years OSU fans shouldn't say a damn word until the Beavers win a Civil War. Not one word.

Yes there's a bunch more Duck fans in Oregon. Most of them never took a class there, have nothing to do with the school and have been a "lifelong" fan since the program started winning a ton of games.

I apologize to real Duck fans that actually took a class or worked at the school, you're cool.
