Second, it's a legitimate complaint. Being new to the forum you may not know this.

And with all due respect, I also don't think you of all people should be calling folk whiners...

wtf? I never personally insulted you. 95% of the threads go off topic of the op so why make this a big issue? It's a temporary situation as the CWS will be over either today or hopefully tomorrow. Relax and ignore it if you don't want to participate. Seems pretty simple as I don't participate in a lot of threads that don't interest me.

Couple things:

I never said you personally insulted me, I just reminded you of the rule.

2nd, no one made it this "big issue" that you're talking about. Eat a lot of red herring? There have simply been a few posts regarding at least labeling the thread OT.

When you call folks whiners for making a couple of posts, who's posts are really whines?

I don't recall you ever complaining in the multiple Duck and Beaver Football game threads that are posted in the main forum.

Duck and Beaver recruiting threads should get moved out of here but, IMO, big local/regional sporting events should be here.

Also, It's not even really a complaint. It's just an opinion. I stated my opinion. That's it. It should be OT. I stand by my opinion. Like I said, this was never a "big issue" until y'all made it one.

Of all people, Cup doesn't need to be reminded of the rule--he skirts it as well as anyone. Even in the example you quoted, he simply said that engaging in a particular behavior makes someone a whiner, without actually calling anyone a whiner.

Dude's a master at the implied indirect attack.

If you'd told me on Monday that the Beavs were going to allow 7 runs combined over the next couple days, I'd have assumed we were celebrating a third OSU CWS title tonight. The Hogs' pitching has just been lights out. Gotta hand it to 'em--they've earned this championship they're about to win.
