I wonder why players want to play for Taggart so badly?

Because he's a good coach. Remember that a lot of the guys fucking up are not guys he recruited. I mean the penalties are frustrating but these guys weren't even working out under Helfrich. We are also playing three freshman receivers....

I'm not saying he's terrible, just wonder what the appeal is. Does he have charisma coming out of his ass? It's not like he's got much of a resume in college football.

This ducks team is just way too depleted, Freeman shouldn't even be playing.

Incomplete my fucking asshole!! HE catches it and takes several steps. HE WAS DOWN BY CONTACT YOU FUCKING ANNOUNCERS!!!!

How fucking blind are these piece of shit announcers?!?! After seeing the replay a million times, they couldn't see that he was down? They never even mentioned that possibility.

Lol at the bitching at the refs.

Happy for the cougs. Good to see them doing well. Hope they win the apple cup.

Oh fuck off. The refs made a terrible call and a terrible no call.
It did seem like my Cougs were getting the calls. I'm not used to that. Do the refs favor ranked team? Last nights game made me think it might be.

^ This deserves its own thread. I agree. I thought he'd get 1 more year after this to turn things around.

I know who I want as the next head coach!

Jonathan Smith. Jonathan Smith, who had posted some of the most prolific games in the history of Husky Stadium as an Oregon State quarterback, came to Seattle as the Huskies' offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the 2014 season. He enters his fourth season in those roles in 2017.

That's who my coworker has been saying would be the next coach a month or so ago. I could see it.

It would be hilarious if we somehow got Chip.

I don't think Chip could turn your program around in less than a couple years. They'd have to be patient. And the zone read isn't new anymore... so I'm not really sure how his offense would do after... what.... 5 years away from CFB?

Yeah i don't disagree.

It would be interesting seeing Chip try. He would be the biggest name hire we have had since Ericksen. Which would spark some excitement.

I don't see it happening though. We arent a big enough team for him. It would have to solely be because of the challenge it would present to him. Chip always seemed to talk nicely about OSU and Riley comparitvely to the other Pac 12 schools.
