I thought Joel's comments about Damon and NVE were the most interesting. Also, I liked the "Telfair exit".

Damn, those were some dark days...
 
I am actually disappointed with Quick on this one. He has done a fantastic job so far. I think he should have tackled Joel and forced him to say what was being said when Poole tossed them. I did read Joel's lips thanks to HCP on the big screen saying I'm not going to take this shit anymore. While I am at it I will give another props to HCP for showing us what Sloan said to Ron Garretson when he got tossed. We could all read Sloan calling him a mother fucker.

Yeah, Joel paying tribute to Damon in his locker was the most interesting part of the piece. I also still remember the chemistry Joel and Van Exel had together on the pick and roll, which seemed to jumpstart his career. Good stuff.

But for as bad as he looked walking out Rudy seemed to get better when he saw his girlfriend. If you have ever seen her, you understand why. As Frye pointed out before last game while talking about Rudy: The guy is like a rock star.

That's funny that Channing would say it looked like Rudy had a stick up his ass. Channing looks like he has a stick up his ass ALL THE TIME.

I've never heard a bad thing about Damon. From his weed dealer("Rasheed is an asshole though"), to people that have run into him at gas stations. All nice things to say. Damon's dad Willie is a really nice guy too.

I grew up with Damon. He is a year younger then me. People can say what they want about him, but he is a real cool guy. Talked to him back Memphis and the other night, and he is as down to earth as he ever was. The only fucked up thing about him is he sold out and went to Wilson!

Pretty much. but he was a freshman when TB was a senior. I don't know what he was thinking. But whenever he played @ Grant, we let him hear about it!
