Being gay is natural?

I think homosexuality is completely natural. It is not very common or socially acceptable, but that doesn't mean it's not natural. Just because 2 homosexuals don't make a child doesn't mean it's not natural. The argument of, 'well if everyone were gay nobody would have kids.' Thats just ridiculous. I think homosexuality is just a difference in the brain. Some men are just not attracted to women, it's not that they are wierd, they can't help it that their brain isn't attracted to women. Some people are born and are not attracted to anyone sexually, is that 'unnatural? No. Gay people have been around forever, homosexuality is common in the animal world as well. Why can't people just accept that it's a difference of the brain and move on? I don't see whats so hard about that. Sure it might seem wierd to heterosexual people that people are gay...but that doesn't mean it's unnatural...Homosexuality is natural.

What I don't get, and what makes be mad, is when even their own family disowns them. Like the kid on the Real World. His mother/family is religious, and that religion states that being gay is a terrible "sin" and all that bullsh**, so they disown him. Even his little brother sent him an e-mail saying that he's not welcome to the house anymore and that he's a total disappointment of a brother. I mean give me a break, that's just f*cking wrong. I feel bad for the guy. It's him, it's who he is, yet the family wants nothing to do with him just because of his sexual preference? That's low.

I think Homosexuality is probably a chemicle inbalance in the brain, which I guess could be "cureable" because the University of Oregon has been doing research on gay sheep, and have been able to change their sexual preferences.that being said I think Homosexuality is natural. Nature has ways of control the population of a species. Humans are getting severly overpopulated, anytime one species gets over populated nature seems to find a way to halt production of that species. in human history before nature has been able to introduce virus's which have curtailed the population. in the modern age however we have an understanding of virus's so we're able to stop them from spreading as rapidly. Nature intentionally creating homosexuls is just one way to help reduce the population of humans, because as stated before and is obvious to anyone with any concept of anotomy two males can't reproduce with each other.I know homosexulality has been around for a long time, atleast as early as the Homeric Spartans. but it tended to be a much smaller percentage of the population, also alot of the Hellenistic tribes practiced more bi-sexual relationships rather than homosexual. the one exception of corse is the Lesbians on Lesbos(thats where the name lesbians comes from).

Theres been studies that sexualy abused children are more likely to grow up and become gay. Also, theres been studies on homosexuals and I think like 82% said they are physically and sexually attracted to the same gender. Which, IMO is completely wrong with what I believe in...but thats me. Really, I think being gay is a very sexual style of life, like gay men like other men cause they are attracted to a male body. Not because they like a man personality...cause alotve of them are flamboyant and try to act like women. Im completely against homosexuality(not to the extent that I cut off my child or disclude them from the family), but IMO, and its just my opinion, gay women and men are only gay because of sexual attractions. Despite all that being said, I dont believe in gay marriage...but I do believe gay couples should be allowed the same benefits as married couples. But I think marriage is a sacred thing and gay marriage is not.....just my opinion though so dont start flaming and stuff...just something that I believe.

The chinese, indians(asian indians), Romans, Greeks, Egyptians....just about everywhere. But it was more of a thing in the higher classes on the civilization.

I believe that homosexuality is not neccesarly something you choose, but I dont believe somebody was just born to like the same gender.

Why can't someone be born and be attracted to the same sex, with everything in the world that we know about the brain and human beings...how is it at least not possible in your opinion? Seems likely to me. Show me a study where sexually abused kids are more likely to be homosexuals. Even if that is true it doesn't mean anything. Sexually abused children could have problems with their sexuality and could lead to confusion because of traumatic events...etc...Obviously if a young boy is sexually abused by men it could lead to a lot of confusion and could really hamper his sexuality in the future. It doesn't mean people aren't born homosexual...

These are my beliefs, and I would appreciate it if yall would respect what Im about to say. I believe God creates a being without sin, but is vulnerable to sin. I think being attracted to the same gender is a sin. Meaning they werent born that way, but for whatever reason, they became gay. Meaning is not natural.If you wanna see some links, just google it and there will be hundreds of sites stating that abused boys are more vulnerable of being gay. And you said it yourself, being abused can sexually hamper a child...but sexually. Meaning they are attracted to men sexually, and I believe that is wrong.

Well, I thought it was pretty obvious seeing that I wrote words like beliefs and sacred marriage. But just because im religious doesn't mean that im not open to other ideas. Ive spoken with a few people on the site about the bible, and anybody I talk to know that I have a different aspect on the Bible. But gay marriage, and it being natural is a strong subject that you probably wont change my belief about.

This could be a groundbreaking insight in the end run that gay men are closely correlated to women, and just for some reason developed as men.But I don't believe that being lesbian is AS natural.
