Beloved 13-year-old make-up guru dies of cancer

A 13-year-old make-up artist who rose to fame after her appearance on the Ellen Show died Tuesday morning after succumbing to a six-year battle with multiple cancers.

Talia was diagnosed with cancer six years ago. After hearing the news, Talia's mother took her to visit Tammy, a family friend who is a cancer survivor. Talia's mother hoped the pair could chat about the girl's recent diagnosis.

During the visit, Tammy showed Talia her make-up. From that moment, Talia fell in love with make-up.

She started playing with beauty products and eventually began posting how-to tutorials on YouTube.
