Man, I need to start my own blog so I can get credentialed again. It's pretty clear that the Blazers will give just about anyone a media pass these days.

The way I understand it is, it's Dave whatever's blog, but Dave lives in Idaho, so he's assigned Ben to do the game stuff. :dunno:

BTW, Ben's a great guy. As well, he accepted my invitation to the KP meet & greet I had put together last October. He then went on to write a very nice piece on the affair. Good stuff, overall.

What does it take to get credentialed, and what do you get out of it? Free tickets?

better do it soon...as blazers get more popular, more blogs will start up. You and Kingspeed should do a collabo..new media shit, online video podcasts, twitter, etc.

Man, these days I don't even know. You used to have to be a legit media outlet... these days..... who knows.

I didn't get tickets. I got a season credential that got me into the games and a seat in the media section.

If you're still booing Darius Miles, there's something missing in your life. You need a hug. And a cultural sensitivity workshop. And a brain transplant.
just a heads up

STOMP

BTW, stay tuned. I'm putting together another one of these events probably sometime this coming summer. KP has already told me he'd be happy to oblige.

Was that before or after your scandalous Tone/Facebook outing? :ohno:

The Grizzlies would not go down without a fight: their sterling 11 point third quarter effort rivaled all but the best opposing team performances the Rose Garden court has seen this year. Hitting an astonishing 4 of 18 shots in the period, the nets on the Grizzlies basket actually appeared to light on fire briefly halfway through the quarter. Mike Conley was the likely fire-starting culprit: his perfect 0 for 8 from the field shooting had the Rose Garden faithful salivating in their seats at the sight of Steve Blake's future replacement.

In the end, one should give credit to the Blazers' team defense, as Roy, Aldridge, Outlaw, Oden and Blake combined late in the third quarter to prevent Hamed Haddadi from reaching a potential triple double. Haddadi finished with 7 points, 5 rebounds and 1 assist.

The night's on-court action was matched only by Hollins' postgame press conference, during which he appeared to fall asleep while standing up in between questions on multiple occasions.

The reporters present did not seem to notice, possibly because they were also asleep.

This guy should do color commentary for the TV crew.

I don't know about that. Openly (and foolishly) advancing the belief that Nate McMillan should be fired should and I'm sure would be used against you and your objective status as a "journalist". I think your fit is here. Making outlandish and ridiculous claims free of charge and then putting posters who challenge you on ignore seems to be your calling. No offense intended.
