Great, great indie rock. It's pretty simple music, but I personally think he is definitely a genius song writer. He plays guitar, bass, drums, sings and sometimes does piano. So yeah, he's overall pretty talented. You might have heard the song "Penny on the tracks" before, it was on Rolling Stone's Top 100 Songs of the year last year. He has three full lengths, "Sha Sha", "On My Way" and a self-titled, and I honestly could listen to every song all the way through. all three cd's. He's that good. I find his lyrics are really easy to relate to, and his music is pretty catchy/accessible.myspace.com/benkwellerhe also used to be in the band "radish" that had a song called "pink little stars" on the radio in the 90s. He was 15 when it was written. unbelievable, because it was actually good rock, not some gay pop song that a 15 year old should be able to write.
