If Ben is really such a tool, then he will do Kawhi sits in Portland and move to Cali as soon as he can. Draymond, with his flopping and crying is full time professional compared to Simmons. If GS want a star, Ben likes to go there, then GS will give away Green for it I guess. Morey would have to give up Lillard dream and settle for CJ.
Idk if Green is my dream trade, but he would make us better.

Agree. Green would make us better, and definitely please Dame.

That is a big IF. I would not make a trade decision based on that extreme scenario.

But if that was the case he would still command a good return from any team in California. So I would still roll the dice on him.

Trades happen all the time. No deadline til February.

I cannot recall a single trade of note that happened between training camp and then about 2 weeks before the trade deadline. It's technically legal yes, but it's not done for various reasons around chemistry and continuity and perhaps tradition. Again I ask the specific question, what is the latest a blockbuster summer trade has been done prior to training camp? This gives us a good metric for when we can expect action and if there is none when we can sharpen our pikes, spruce up our torches and shine our pitchforms.

There was that massive seven player trade that took place three weeks into the season... this season. Re: James Harden

This I agree with - Thybulle must be a target in any Por/Phi trade.

Ben’s diva antics is tanking his trade value.

Harden was traded a few weeks into the season just last year. Trades happen all the time from the end of the Finals to the deadline in February.

aha! Youre right! Would be insanely foolish for Sixers to use that as a template. Value is much higher now than when dumpster fire season starts.

Morey going to get desperate

He will be calling to take CJ soon
Totally agree. Now if GS gets involved, maybe Green could be on the way to PDX. And then Dame would be happy, and Mr. Nightlife would also be happy.

Certainties:
Philly will not trade Simmons for a package where CJ is the main player
Golden State will not trade Draymond

The sooner certain people can accept this, the better.

This "the sooner people accept blah blah blah" garbage really damages your credibility. Your prognostications aren't any more valuable or likely than those of others. Come on. I don't think that Golden State will trade Dray and I do think that Philly would take the right package with CJ in it. It might take more draft picks than many in here are comfortable with and Olshey is willing to give up but I do think they'd do it. That's not to say the sooner you figure out that I'm right the better because your opinion is valid.

It’s probably Jody the Vulcans that would want to trade Dame. He’s way too admired and idolized for a team from Portland.
He's their most marketable commodity outside of team loyalty... so I doubt they're just trying to get rid of him because of that. Maybe I missed the green font on that one.

Anyone want to listen to this and say if there's anything new in there?

Could only sit thru the first 10 mins.

- Ben Simmons is going to be traded because if he doesn't it's going to turn into a circus like atmosphere.

- He is considering sitting out training camp if he doesn't get traded and it's going to reduce trade value, so it's possible they get ahead of this and move him.

- Sixers/Morey have the power to send him where THEY want, he's not a free agent where he can have say in where he goes.

I think now that Dame is back, his agent has to be telling people what Neil has been saying all summer, that he's staying here. That will pretty much force the Sixers to make a Simmons move. I still think that of the guys that are available (because Beal seems cool in DC) that CJ is the best fit for their needs. If they take a package with CJ as the best player or not, I think they'll trade him before he sits out one day of training camp because as soon as he does, they lose even more leverage.
