is there a way, like there is on twitter, to see if that recently happened or happened a while ago?
No but having been following Ben this summer I had only seen CJ and Watford ( lsu) following him from the Blazers. dame is recent. And same with Ben.

Honestly Morey would be an idiot to sell low on Simmons and the Blazers would be selling low on CJ after the playoff performance...these guys would be better traded at the deadline when they can build some value if a deal in in the works...as it is I don't want a guy here who has no loyalty or desire to play here...Simmons bothers me most because he hasn't come out in the media and addressed the issue....he can clear this up with a press conference. You can trade CJ for a great player who'd love to be in Portland or pay big bucks to a guy who'll bail on you after his first bad playoff series...threaten to not show up for training camp....now that's some immature bullshit I don't care how good a defender he is...can he get his head screwed on straight?

If Morey-on don't like it, tade him somewhere else for, hope full prospects, that don't fit Embiid's trick knee time line.

I ain't throwing in RoCo, with CJ in a deal for Mr. Nightlife. That's one step forward, one back. Now if Simmons returns with Seth Curry & a future 1st OK. Two can play the overcompensation game.
If they get RoCo, I want Thybulle.

The thing is River. If CJ stays healthy, and builds on his fast start from last year , before the Lumox stepped on his foot, the Blazers most likely will be rollin' and he won't be traded. If a trade is going to happen, it's gonna be before camp. Or not at all. Unless the season goes tits up of course.

I'm sorry but i just don't see it with Thybulle. He's nothing special. was mediocre vs. team USA. And hasn't done didley in the NBA.
There's a huge need to improve on the offensive end, but he was 2nd team all defense in his second year, and arguably a top 3 wing defender already.

Plus Nassir has a chance to make a major step in productivity this year. Nas is a better talent, with a higher ceiling, IMO, of course.

I don't know but two weeks ago, neither follow each other. Last week Dame started following Ben. This week, Ben started following Dame. On Instagram.

I follow Dame on IG and checked on his followers when people started mentioning he started following Ben

purely defensive players are unplayable in the modem nba playoffs, similar to purely offensive players although you can kinda get away with that.

hard no

Watching Simmons shoot, does he need glasses. I mean seriously. Most people wait too long to get glasses. Maybe he needs to visit the optometrist .

CJ had 40 games to build on that fast start and didn't do it. He also played 500 games before that fast start and never came close to matching it. Dame averaged 44 & 10 over a 10 game stretch the season before, but that was not his real level. It was just a hot streak. He regressed to norms, as expected. So did CJ

I don’t understand why you arent willing to trade a known serial killer in CJ McCollum and someone who hates kittens in RoCo for Ben “nightlife” Simmons

See how that works? You just make up random shit and then repeat it ad nauseum and reject all the follow up reports saying its bullshit he only wanted the CA teams. Broussard said ANY team is what Ben’s camp wants. Portland is far, far better than most teams and Ben can spend the offseason in LA and enjoy nightlife on the road if need be. I wish people would stop with the made up bullshit.

Immaturity is real and demonstrable. Can it be fixed? Yes, Im certain if anyone on earth can reach this guy it’s Damian Lillard. The made up CA story line is bullshit. Please stop with the bullshit.

Interesting stat from the Jacked Ramsey podcast with Danny Marang and Brandon Sprague:

With Ben Simmons on the floor, the 76'ers shot 40% from the 3-pt line.
With Ben Simmons NOT on the floor, the 76'ers shot 28% from the 3-pt line.

That is a dramatic stat and a significant difference. Wonder what he would do for Dame, Simons, Powell, Nance, Little, etc?

Ben is a great scorer who had a bad series.

This is as silly as Max Kellerman saying he'd take Iguodala over Curry to shoot a 3 if the aliens had a death ray pointed at the earth.

Take the gamble of losing Dame by trading away his best friend on the team for a guy who can't shoot and is reluctant to go the free throw line in the playoffs.

I'll pass.

Dame clearly wants to play with Simmons and if Dame isn't willing to trade CJ then we are fucked anyways. We cant get to the next level by keeping CJ. We are on the clock and there is no other needle moving trade out there. We have to take our shot.

I have a feeling with training camps starting three weeks from tomorrow that Simmons will be moved in the next 21 days. I don't know if it will be to us but we are a very likely destination. Regardless, the Sixers don't have a Harden situation in which they have a superstar with a set value that can only do nominal damage to that value. The first day that Simmons sits out of camp his value tanks even further. Morey will take the best offer he can get that helps the team now because he can't guarantee that Dame or Beal will become available, so he can't take a package of picks and prospects. The Sixers just aren't built to take on extra players because they have a team built to win now. I think that's the clock that's ticking.

When Simmons had the series against Atlanta his value went down, when Doc and Embiid said what they did his value went down, this past week when his trade demand was made public his value went down, if he sits out a day of training camp his value will go further down and if he starts the season and has the balls to sit out a regular season game... or half ass it the way Harden did, that contract might come close to having negative value. So watch Woj's twitter because dude's getting moved soon.

And then when the team is mediocre again with those two, and Dame asks for a trade anyway, what then?

We differ. I think it will be mediocre if you waste CJ on trading him for Ben Simmons.

You've seemed to pigeonhole yourself into a Simmons or bust situation which I think is suspect AF.

I agree. I want to hold out for a dominant SF.

I want him just because of what he did to Luka in the Bronze Medal Game:

Just to reiterate: Morey really wants Dame. He realizes Dame may not be available by the time he is forced to trade Simmons. But he believes that Dame WILL be available in the next year or so. Solution? Trade for a package that will be attractive to a rebuilding Blazers' team. Shit, this means he could trade Simmons to someone like OKC and just get a shit-ton of their picks back. But what it CERTAINLY means is that he WILL NOT trade Simmons for CJ, for two very good reasons:
1. If CJ is his asset, then there's no way he can trade for Dame when (he believes) Dame becomes available. The Blazers would not do that.
2. If he gives the Blazers Simmons, then that might buy more time for the Blazers before Dame asks out.

So... I believe that the only way Morey trades Simmons for CJ is if that's literally the only offer he's got. And we KNOW the Wolves are chasing Simmons hard, and we don't know if Olshey has even considered a CJ-Simmons trade.

I agree with Rasta. I doubt this is going to happen. But if it does, and as much as I like CJ (and I do), the potential fit is just so great that you have to take the chance.

If forced, I would trade Dame to ANY team in the league other than LAL or PHI if they pulled that shit. Morey is being a petty bitch if he tries to do that sort of thing and no way it works. I can't imagine he'd be that dumb. He would end up with neither and another year of Embiid's ticking time bomb knees. That would be the most incredible fail I can imagine. Simmons for CJ is far, FAR better than this insane idea which wouldn't work anyways. In fact, this might cause Embiid to ask out. That's a high-risk, high-risk idea for Morey as in little to no upside and high risk on both ends. Terrible 2-D chess. He ain't getting Dame, now or ever.
