The Nazis were National Socialists, not Democratic Socialists.

They were socialists, regardless of what politifact says.

Along with a lot of nationalistic stuff I omitted, you have:

1) breaking up big corporations, if not outright nationalization of them
2) union type profit sharing
3) Social Security
4) Public eduction for free, including higher education
5) President's Physical Fitness Program

Some of that is what Sanders is selling.

Sly says the Nazis were democratic.

It's a shame what blind ambition will do. Stop and smell the flowers. There is more to life than becoming a wealthy, powerful, connected message board chieftain, the upcoming rival to Canzano for the position of Portland's Moral Leader.

So being against child labor means you're a socialist?

I guess if you say so.

It doesn't matter how much you keep sniffin that Hillary skirt, she is never going to sleep with you.

Sanders wants to kill off all non-jews?

he wants to tax the corporations to distribute to the masses. #14.

Among several of the others in the nazi party platform.

Are you the CEO of a corporation?

Then why do you give a shit whether they get taxed at a higher rate? Or would you rather they stash the earnings overseas? Because you know, those $35k jobs are really something you can live off of. Those CEO's who are disconnected with the guys on the front lines who are making the company go, get bonuses triple the average joe's annual income.

Dude, this is some serious trolling. What, you're working for the Oregonian now....?? Bad, bad, bad dog.

I did this to troll Denny. Seeing his responses it clearly worked.

Denny was against the bank bailouts, now that Sanders has said he's against them Denny has reversed position and can't support them enough.

Denny's new position is all corporations are too big to fail.

I'd rather they invest more in research and hire more people.

When unemployment is low, the demand for even unskilled workers goes way up. Burger King was paying $15+/hr in the Clinton bubble years.

It makes no sense to stifle employment with anticapitalist and crushing policies.

I'm still against the bank bailouts.

You don't state my position at all.

To be honest with you, I actually strongly oppose the $15 minimum wage.
I'm not suggesting a minimum wage. At $14/hr, burger king couldn't hire anyone. Nobody would take the job at that pay.

Well than what are you suggesting, Denny?

That CEO's should continue to make bank and stash their earnings in the Cayman Islands, the average laborer bring home $35k and not be able to ever afford a house, or retirement.

I look at the big picture. Without posters there is no message board. Without the guys on the front lines, these corporations aren't where they are.

The corporations are a product of regulation.

The $35K thing is irrelevant if government policies encourage people to work. That's about $15/hr, $35K. Close to it. For the LOWEST paying jobs.

Plus the median income is over $50K. That means half the workers make MORE than that.

What the CEOs make or do with their money is irrelevant. If you look at the highest paid CEO on the aflcio www site, he makes a $3M salary plus a bunch of paper (stock) to be vested and distributed over a period of several years. The company grew 4000% over 7 years, which is phenomenal. Looking at glassdoor.com, there are no jobs at discovery communications that pays as little as $35K. His $3M salary is a fraction of 1% of the company payroll - the 7000+ workers make 98%+. There are maybe a dozen execs making $1M+ there.

National Socialist! It may not be much of point to quibble over though. The main ingredient is Socialist for both the Nazis and the Communist. The difference being
The National focus for one and the Global focus for the other.

Bernie is not really that much different than our average Democrats today, other than he is willing to call it like it is, he is a Socialist. It matters not who owns the means of production but
what you do with the fruits of the production (profits) and how that is enforced. Government becomes the approved religion of society and the enforcement of distribution of the profits of production.

Bernie isn't even actually a Democratic Socialist. The Scandinavian countries he loves and uses as examples are social democracies, they do not have fully socialist economies.

"Social democracy is defined as a policy regime involving a universal welfare state and collective bargaining schemes within the framework of a capitalist economy."

Socialism and democracy is not compatible, even if you try hard to explain it is. Anytime a government must govern social policies, then it cannot be a democracy. You take away the freedom and liberty of the citizens to freely decide what they do with their property.

LOL! Seriously Mags, that's not even close to being the truth.
