So far this year my favs are

1. Chino XL - Poison Pen
2. Ghostface - Fishscale

(I still haven't heard the new Vakill, but I've read nothing but great things about it)

I'm still looking forward to the new:

Rakim
Nas
Roots
Raekwon
Outkast
Redman
Scarface

E-40's album wasn't that bad. I liked Chamillionaire's before it started getting played a lot. I know they say this every year, but isn't Detox supposed to come out soon?

man no tellin with detox......hopefully it does come out soon, I've been jammin Chronic 2001 a lot lately.....but yeah I liked Chamillionaire's album....he's came a long way from the old stuff he used to do with Paul Wall.

Definitely. I'm so glad that he didn't decide to follow the path of other Houston rappers and actually decided to work on his lyrical skills and flow.

I was skeptic at first when someone handed me his album, cause all I could think about was how bad him and paul wall used to be together....but he really shocked me, and made a bangin album with a good mixture of club joints and creativity.

Dr. Dre - Detox
The Game - Doctors Advocate
Lloyd Banks - Rotten Apple
Raekwon - ?
Ghostface Killa - ?

I am really lookin ahead to Doctor's Advocate. Also, I am looking foward to NaS and Raekwon's new stuff because apparently they will be collaborating on a track or 2. Chamillionaire's new album was outta control, I really liked it because his solo mixtapes were awesome. I am not looking foward to any of these Mike Jones/ Paul Wall fake rapper albums. Hopefully 50 comes out with something to out do The Massacre.

Looking forward to the game album coming out June 6th not sure what it's called yet. Also the new Yung Joc coming out soon. Along with some of the ones already mentioned.

I don't think The Game album has a date yet. It's going to be called Doctor's Advocate.

Out now: King- TI

Looking Forward to: Detox, Doctor's Advocate, Rotten Apple.

Do you know when "The Nacirema Dream" going to be released? Its about time Papoose released his debut.

Game said it's coming out June 6th. He said it at some award show forget which one quote " The new album droppin 6.6.06 it's the devils day, but we gonna do something angelic".

Lol, I hope he doesn't make an album of disses to G-Unit. Trusting him, he will. I think it's a little soon as he needs some hype after his first single drops to sell copies. June 6th leaves 30 days and he hasn't even shot a music video yet. I think it will most likely get pushed back until the beginning of August.

out: tha charter 2, sound of revenge, thug motivation 101, the documentary

looking forward to: the new ice cube cd, detox, doctors advocate

Out: Tha Carter II, King

Looking forward to: Papoose's new album, Lloyd Banks new album, Tha Carter III

It kept on getting delayed, but now that he's with Violater, it should come out soon. Either sometime in the summer or fall. It's basically all old tracks from his mixtapes (including Boyz and Da Hood), with a few new ones.

I forgot that Busta Rhymes' "The Big Bang" is supposed to come out in June. Won't be as great as earlier stuff, but I've always liked his music.

Looking forward to: Lil Eazy E - Prince Of Compton

Lil E brings back some of the old school rappers on his debut album. I've heard Ice Cube and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony will be on the album, and perhaps some Dre.

Yea, I heard he's trying to get all the original NWA back for one track. Is he a good rapper though? Never really heard him. Someone told me that he doesn't write his own lyrics.

I'm looking forward to the new Less Than Jake album. gotta dig the ska

I'd say College Dropout, Late Registration, and probably The Documentary.

I'm looking forward to a new Kanye CD, and somethin from PAP an Fall Out Boy, if possible Jessica Alba can replace Jessica Simpsons and take over the music industry.

The Detox for sure, but htats supppsoed to drop late 2006 or late 2007? as dre even commented? Food and Liquor is gonna be that album. The raw cut that was laked was already sounding good.

I'm looking forward to the new Nas album, new Papoose album, and of course I been waitin for my boy JR Writer to drop his new album History in the Making, all those albums I mentioned are all guaranteed to be hot.

Method Man's new album 4:21 The Day After. I've heard it's going to be a good album. I wouldn't be suprised if it's album of the year.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">On his upcoming album, 4:21, The Day After, Method Man finds out what happened when he put down the blunt and picked up a pen with a clear head. "The national weed smoking day is 4/20, so I named my album 4:21, The Day After," Meth said in a statement. "Because after that day, you have this moment of clarity when you're not high and you see things clearly..."You feel like you're not in on the joke, and everyone's laughing at you. I felt like no one was taking me seriously. I got real angry and I just starting writing." Out of that moment of clarity came an album full of introspective lyrics, including the first single, "Say," which features Lauryn Hill and finds the rapper addressing critics and fickle fans for disrespecting him. Production on 4:21 comes courtesy of RZA, Scott Storch, Havoc, K1, and Eric Sermon.</div>

I love Meth. He's one of my favourite rappers, and definitely my fav out of Wu-Tang. Just looking at the performers he got in and the people he got to produce it, it seems like he's determined to bounce back from a disappointing Tical: The Prequel. I'm looking forward to it.

I didn't like it very much, but if you really like TI then go for it.

Whenever the hell Detox comes out, I'll be sure to get that.

Nas - Hip-Hop Is Dead
Lupe Fiasco - Food & Liquor
Ludacris - Release Therapy
Papoose - The Nacirema Dream

One of my favorite albums that has come out this year is "Feedback" by Jurassic 5, 10 bucks well spent.

Edit: That Method Man album sounds like it's gonna be great. I'm definitely checking that out.

I heard the new Meth is okay, Luda's new single is trash so I don't expect the album to be too good, I haven't checked out that Jurassic 5 yet...I might pick it up.
