"Vote for me and all your wildest dreams will come true."

Pretty much sums up Romney.

And Obama four years ago. (This go-around his argument is more, "Vote for me or all your wildest fears will come true."

"Primary Colors"- watched it again last night actually. I highly recommend it.

Wag the Dog is ok.

Not necessarily an election movie, but My Fellow Americans is one of my all-time favorites.

I thought Black Sheep was funnier when it was called Tommy Boy.

I was going to say All the President's Men, is it an election movie?

Home sick, got free HBO 2 mohths since DirecTV screwed up for the millionth time, saw Game Changer. No big suprises, but interesting. John McCain clung to some shreds of honor and integrity that are now gone. He would never pal around with birthers.

Crap, I took a course at Cal on Film in America or somesuch and we saw Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. The teacher gave me a bad grade because I disagreed with his interpretation of the film - he saw it as optimistic, I saw it as one honest person (white and male, of course) could not clean up "the system". Not the first or last time that happened in lit type classes. One of the reasons I went into science. In science and math you deal with facts and it's right or wrong.

Amazingly enough, I went into engineering for many of the same reasons, but it was interpretation of historical trends rather than literary ones.

Damn, Brian, for the first time ever, we discovered something in common.

I'll have to toast you back with tea, all I'm drinking until I get over this damn stupid cold. I'm missing the cool election night party because of it.

my best cold medicine is tequila and orange juice. Your mileage may vary. Hope you get better soon...I've already had two bugs this years, which is two more than I've had the last two years. Having toddlers kinda sucks that way.

I rarely get sick but when I do I get REALLY sick. I ride public transit which gives me high resistance since I'm exposed to so many bugs, but the ones that do get me are really nasty. At least we get free flu shots at work. (and we are so damn spoiled people complained there was no coffee & cookies at the flu shot clinic)
