Best section to watch a game?

I'm looking at tickets for next weekend. Where's the most fun to watch the game at? I know the 100s are good since you are close to the action...but the 300s are loudest?

I love my seats up in section 301. They straddle half court. You can see every play develope before it actually happens. Plus the best part is, it's only like $18 a game.

Best place? Mid court at the top of the 100 level. You're close enough to see the action and high enough up that you can see the whole court.

Yeah I've got seats in 121 for tomorrow night's game against the Timberpups, 15 rows behind the Blazers bench, (same seats I got last year for a game) and it's simply incredible how big these guys really are, especially when you think about how small Bayless looks when he's out there and then you realize he's 6'3"

Of course, courtside seats can't be beat. I highly recommend picking them up if you have the means. I still remeber the first time I sat courtside at the old MC. It was back around 1990 or 91 and the Blazers were playing the Pacers. Rick Smits was abusing Duck, just posting him up and shooting turnaround jumpers over Duck like he wasn't even there. I turned to my wife and said it must suck to be 7' tall and feel short compared to the guy you're guarding. I'm a fairly big guy (6'4" 230), but I feel like a dwarf next to these guys.

The Blazers created a new seating category this season. These are the Green sections and the best 300 level seats. They are center court and the first 6 or 8 rows in the 300 level (right above the Club Level seats). These used to be part of the Yellow seating category. They raised the price of the yellow tickets from $49.00 to $55.00 this season, but kept these greeen seats at $49.00. We had preseaon tickets in the green section and have some later this year where we are in the front row, dead center. It's not the same as being courtside, but it's still great place to take in the game for less than 50 bucks a seat.

i'm in 301 as well and LOVE them. of course i would love to be courtside or in the 100s but i enjoy being high enough to see things develop.

There is no way I could sit courtside. The refs would probably kick me out the first time I yelled "Usually I get bent over before I get fucked in the ass" when they make a bad call. But I do think being close enough to yell "The ball don't lie" a vew times would be fun.

Depends on what problem you tolerate best.

In the 300 section, you do get to see the plays unfold. However, you also do not get a true feel for the size of these guys. Depending on where you are sitting, the guys in front can block your view of half the court by just leaning forward a bit.

Lexus level is nice, but pricey. Bigger seats, plenty of room on the concourse and all you can eat food. Still alittle farther away from the action.

Behind the basket seats are not too bad price wise, but move alot whenever anyone in your row move or behind/front. You might get alittle blockage as well depending where you sit.

The white are nice, but you will pay. I prefer the seats across from the bench, not 121,122, 101-103.

My season seats are in the blue behind Paul Allen and in 108 on the corner so that I have leg room if needed and an entire court view. They work for me.

My seats are fifth row in the green section, right behind two little old ladies who never stand up. Plus, the beer gal is a cutie, and she always comes to me first when she hits my section...

Our center court luxury suite. Numerous flat screen TV's, nice wide leather seating, private bathroom (with a flat screen in it), food everywhere, not having to sit with the riff-raff, cute babes brining your drinks to you...

Unfortunately, I only get to go to about 3 games per year and a few other events (like this Sunday and the recent MMA event...)

I never sat courtside - so can't comment on this. But, generally, I found that the 300 level is more fun, for me, than the back of the 100 level, simply because of the atmosphere and the fact that the other fans are rowdy and not worried about making noise.

I did get to go to a couple of games with friends in a luxury suite - through my wife's work - and it was lots of fun, but that could be because I knew and liked the people I was watching the game with.

I'm another 301 season ticket holder. I believe that section is the best bang for your buck!

If one of you 301 folks in this thread is the one who sits behind me and predicts what's going to happen on every play (and wrong an amazingly high percentage of the time), would you please shut up!

Rocking section 314! The corners of the 300 level give you a fair view of the game (center court better, behind baskets worse), but physically the corner seats appear closer in distance to the court (in the 300 level) as opposed to center court or end zone seats. For the price, I love em!

No offense Wookee, but if I was the beer gal I'd hit you up first also. How many other guys are buying $50 worth of Coors Light? Lightens the load lugging the empties around the rest of the section.

I love my seats at the top of the 100 Section, on one of the center aisles (inside the free throw line). Pretty close but still high enough to see the plays unfold.

Right on the aisle, and right inside from the Widmer Pub, so easy access (well, to high-priced drinks).

Fun guys in the two seats next to mine, but even better is that the rest of the row is held open by the Rose Garden for last-minute comp tix or emergencies, so we usually have room to spread ourselves out a bit. Or even sneak in a friend, but don't tell the usher that - she's a hawk!

Unfortunately they raised the prices this year and I do question whether they're worth it compared some other alternatives. And it's hard to sell them if I can't go. So while I think they are among the best seats in the house, I might just give them up . . . or try to sell a half season to someone or a consortium. Any interest?
