I just started Raised by Wolves on HBO Max. Ridley Scott is an executive producer and he directed the first two episodes.

From wikipedia:
Raised by Wolves centers around "two androids — Father and Mother — tasked with raising human children on Kepler-22b after the Earth was destroyed by a great war. As the burgeoning colony of humans threatens to be torn apart by religious differences, the androids learn that controlling the beliefs of humans is a treacherous and difficult task."

Holy fuck! Great show! Can't wait for the season finale on Thursday.

Happy to hear it's been renewed for season 2.

Anyone getting this new Google Chromecast device?

50 bucks
90 bucks with 6 months of netflix

That we have in common! Peaky Blinders is one of my favorites, Beer & Blood is a poor man's version (w/subtitles) but based on a true story.
This not totally uncommon (raises hand).

Lovecraft Country and Fargo have been sooooooooo good.

I finished the last season of the Black list last night....the last episode was halted due to the corona virus but they finished it with the real footage mingled with graphic novel style parts and it worked very well....I expect we'll ssee a lot more Sin City type productions this year and next due to constraints on filming...it's one solution..they finished the season with voice over acting..pretty smart way to resolve a year's work

Ted Lasso on Apple TV Plus is a kick:

Absolutely loved this. Highly recommend.

Just finished this. Awesome. So great to see something kind, not cynical, funny. A balm for this mean era. Jason Sudakis was excellent!

Agreed on all counts. I’m looking forward to the second season.

I watched the first couple of episodes last night and WTF?!? This is actually good. You guys actually have good taste. I'm shocked.

And thanks for the recommendation.

Just started watching The Right Stuff on Disney+. They only have two episodes out so far but it's looking to be pretty good. If it's half as good as the movie then I'll be satisfied.

The new season of Star Trek Discovery has been really good so far.

A TV show based on a commercial has no business being this good, but holy crap is it one of my favorite new shows hands down.

What trips me out is the lady who owns the team is the "Shame! Shame! Shame!" lady from Game of Thrones.

Oh man, I didn't even pick up on that!

I really didn't know what to expect. The premise sounded like a SNL skit. But it I love the mixture of silly and serious drama.

It makes sense though when you see that one of the creators was from Scrubs.

Loving the new Google Chromecast. Replaced the Apple TV setup I was using. Much quicker. Better remote.

What We Do in the Shadows is pretty funny

About 6 episodes in on Queen's Gambit. Intriguing. My wife and I enjoy playing chess, which makes this extra entertaining.

I got hooked on a show called "Upload" last week. It's 10 episodes on Amazon Prime. The gist of the show is once you die, your uploaded to a "heaven" and can still talk to and interact with the living. Kind of a neat idea, feels a bit like a Doctor Who type idea.
