Just watched the first episode of Bad Sport ("Hedake" Smith, etc., fixing ASU basketball). Pretty good. Anyone watching this series?

I watched it, not bad. The Italian one I didn't finish, lol. The horse one was good. And the Canadian Ice Skaters.

I've been watching Doom Patrol on HBO Max, its a DC series and surprisingly good, a little dark but super funny.

The Many Saints of Newark, Sopranos prequel was awesome also! They did a great job casting and it was fun go identify the characters throughout the show. It's obviously set up for a sequel.

I really liked it but so many people thought it was junk.

Got half way through it…..I struggled getting into it. And I LOVE the Sopranos. Just didn’t quite understand how the story was about Christopher’s dad and not more about Tony. I’m sure I’ll try to finish it. A little disappointed to be honest.

If you finish it you will see how Christopher s dad was a big influence for Tony's direction in life. I'll admit I thought it was going to be more about Tony also and he is pretty much just a goofy kid the whole time. The sequel is going to be where Tony really comes into his own.

Gonna start tonight. Had to get the PBS subscription, but that's OK.

I try hard to understand British dialog. I miss so much.

Just finished ep 3 of the new season. So far it's been great!
I'm rewatching season 1 again before starting season 2 to refresh myself...seems like a long time since season 1 ....I'm on episode 6 of season one...glad I watched it again

Both Dark (German) and mixte (french) are very good if you can handle foreign tv, on Netflix and Amazon respectively

Just heard about series We Are Here on HBO. Looks like something to check out.

It’s been out for awhile but BroadChurch is really good!

So, we started watching Broadchurch last night. While a bit hard to understand the dialect, it's starting well (I'll try the subtitles, @SlyPokerDog!) I was tired, so went to bed around 11. My wife wanted to stay up and wrap Christmas presents. She comes to bed around 2:30. I heard her come in, so she tells me, "That's a GREAT show! I just watch 6 episodes! You need to get caught up tomorrow!"

She's driving to Kentucky to pick up her mom later today, so I guess I'll do just that. :)

I watched the 1st episode of The Witcher last night. It definitely is the type of show I like. Looking forward to spending some time watching episodes of it!

@SlyPokerDog told me about a new show on the Cooking Channel. It’s about an amazing chef/baker in the Bay Area who makes these fabulous deserts, but NEVER sends them to this really hip, half Mexican soccer dad up in Portland! Feel bad for the guy!

It would help your cause if you actually LOOKED HUNGRY! As if any caring person would say....that guy doesn't need cookies!

We watched Broadchurch at the start of the pandemic and it was a REALLY good show but we did watch with subtitles. Loved seasons 1 and 3 ... two was a bit of a slog but overall a fun watch and love how British shows end when they are done telling the story instead of dragging out like some many here in the USA do.

Subtitles is the ticket! Thanks for the suggestion @SlyPokerDog!

The new Netflix movie Don't Look Up is awesome. Loved every minute of it.

Anyone seen The Town?
