To me the hardest part to watch is still to come for you ... episodes 3 and 4 will put you through the ringer.
Sounds like you’re describing sitting down to watch baseball! #BAM #TrollLife

The first episode of The Chair Company with Tim Robinson dropped last night on HBO Max. It even had a Portland musician Elliott Smith song.

It was so so good.

Anyone watching the new Monsters Ed Gein show on Netflix?

Just finished the last episode tonight ... was the weakest of the three Monster seasons and was pretty disappointed though Charlie Hunnam was unrecognizable as Gein. There was a little too much sex with dead bodies for my liking and the final two episodes felt like they were trying to make him into a sympathetic figure, especially with 'that' scene in the last few minutes.

Very late to the party but finally got through the first two seasons of Ted Lasso after a few start/stops. Really liked the first two seasons but three has become a bit of a chore. They've bloated each episode from a tight 30ish minutes to now they are all at the 50 minute or longer runtimes. More isn't always better, and we saw this with a show like the Office, where as the seasons went on they stretched stories out to an hour run time and they just aren't as sharp and impactful.

My wife and I are finally getting towards the end of Mad Men. It's been good overall but has lost a bit of steam in season six. Not sure what we'll go to next.

Watched season 1 and 2 of The Night Manager. I liked it, especially season 1. It was really good. Season 2 was OK, but didn't really like the ending, and season 2 almost feels like a repeat of season 1. I don't want to say much because I don't want to spoil it for any of you who will watch it.
