That's why I waited and I'm letting my brother buy it for my son for XMAS. I didn't want to be out $60 this time of year! That sucks man!
 
My kids want both battlefield and COD. Not sure if I should get both or just 1. We also don't have xbox live because I don't want then to hear the language some people use. I have heard the only reason to get them is for multi player, and that single player sucks

The single player of both games are very short, so they probably aren't worth full price for just those. There is cursing in them as well, so if that is a problem they are probably both a no go.

Not in game cursing. Xbox live cursing. I don't need some stranger in another state corrupting my kids. That's my job, damnit
 
I love MW3 better than any other COD game, even COD4.

The maps are awesome and are totally different than any other COD game.

Hardcore Kill Confirm is my favorite so far.

Btw, the next map pack will include maps from MW2 and COD4:

You can set it up so they can only chat live with their "friends"... and you can set it up so you have to approve their "friend requests".
If you dont have headphones plugged in, you dont hear much of the people talking.
 
I tried it again at lunch. I'm thinking this just isnt for me. I'm making a trip to Gamestop to return it for another free game lol.

Get the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection on the ps3! Apparently you can co-op the psp game included in the pack.

I actually asked and they didnt have it lol. I took home Uncharted 3, MW3, and Assasins Creed Revelations even though I'm not ready to play that game. I really searched for that MGS Collection though lol
 
they have to be used games lol.

That sucks, i was surprised at how good 2 and 3 looked in hd.
 
yeah just from what I've seen they looked amazing. I still never played those games after 1. But I really want to. Too bad MGS1 wasnt redone. That was a game that changed video games for me.
 
gave it one last chance after work. 1.5 K/D ratio isnt even convincing me that this isnt one of the most "un-fun" FPS's I have ever played. So little skill, and so much camping with nothing to deter them from it (no offense Fez not trying to bash your tastes lol)
 
I'm an avid COD player and this is a horrible game. They made it way to easy for people. I love having huge games but its not as satisfying knowing I did it with such an easy game. Just waiting for the next one to come out.
 
I think it's funny that some parents are worried about their kids hearing cuss words while playing a horribly violent video game.

but if you know where they are camping, cant you just all go there and kill them?

seems like in real war, it would be smarter to hide behind cover and snipe people off than run wildly through the streets, shooting from the hip like a lunatic

Put it this way, campers are terrorists and run and gunners are the good ol' USofA.

well one mans "terrorist" is another mans "freedom fighter"

just like in the revolutionary war WE were the "terrorists, and infuriated the brits with our unethical "camping" techniques...they preferred we line up in rows and do war the right way, instead of hiding behind trees and taking potshots at them
 
yeah MW3 was the first FPS I touched since Skyrim too lol

It's not a real war though, its a video game meant for fun.

And yeah, you're right. If you know where they are camping then you can just go kill them. The problem is when they are aimlessly laying in a building with there gun pointed at the door for no reason. Their teammmates are dying because he is hiding in the corner and only comes into contact with someone if they run by that one door.

very. And its blatantly promoted and rewarded in this game. Battlefield will give you points for camping and getting kills, but you get more points for being in the middle of the fight and actually doing stuff, so it rewards more open and fun gameplay.
