But both those men need to address key issues, and they haven't. McCain is "party politics as usual", and Lewis hasn't done anything for Atlanta in years, and most black people there still live in poverty.

I deliver in a very Russian part of SE Foster Rd. It baffles me how Russians raise their kids. As soon as you can walk you can go outside and play unsupervised. Its crazy.

That's how everyone was raised when I was a kid. I have memories of hunting rats with homemade spears in the old garage behind the Texaco with older kids when I was 2-3 years old. Downtown LO was totally overrun with water rats back then.

When I was 5 I walked 10 blocks to the Lake Theater every Saturday. Sometimes alone, sometimes with friends.

Same with Newton's Ice Cream Shop, Ted's Toys. Piggly Wiggly, or hiking in Tryon Creek which was much larger, wilder, and not yet a park.

The National Crime Rate was virtually the same then as it is now, but we weren't being programmed by our government to live in fear as we are today.

A fire arm is not an intimidation tactic. Theres laws about brandishing for a reason. If someone is breaking into your house and they start running. Throwing your double barrel dick out the door is brainless. You pull the trigger to kill. And you kill to save your life or anothers. Thats it. There's no other reason to shoot another human.

If someone was running, id say your goals have been acomplished. No reason to chase or fire a weapon.

They come from a belief that criminals should get shot in the leg like in the movies, and shooting a car will cause it to blow up.

So of course they think that an AR-15 holds 100 rounds (Biden's words, not mine...) and can be emptied in 2 seconds flat.

They much prefer some idiot having a double barrel shotgun firing randomly into the air, rather than an educated person with an AR-15 who knows what he's doing.
