Eh.... I'd say it depends on the kind of fear and hate.

Plenty of fear and hate towards the GOP on college campuses. They won't even let speakers on a lot of campuses because they disagree with their stance on certain topics. I don't particularly care for a lot of the provacateurs from the GOP, but they should at least be allowed to speak on a campus. College is about free thought and debate.

I'd say the two "hates" are not equal. One hates someone for something they can't control (being gay, black, LGBTQ etc) the other hates something the other person CAN control.

I disagree. If people are spreading lies and misinformation we should deplatform them wherever possible.

I'm not saying they're equal, but while I was at Portland State I would NEVER talk politics because I have some conservative viewpoints and some liberal. But the attitude of most of the people there, and the professors, was that everyone was drinking the coolaid.

Hate is hate. Not letting people express their viewpoints in a place that's supposed to be about differing viewpoints is wrong.

Having a different opinion doesn't mean that it's a lie or misinformation.
Right, I didn't say anything about disagreeing. I specifically pointed out lies and misinformation as what should be deplatformed.

When you have to pee you have to pee I guess. The alley, the beach, the mall, the streetcorner, roadside....always somewhere new!

If people are living on the street in squalor, everywhere is a garbage can

Republican AGs, Dark Money Groups Scheme to Sue Over Student Debt Relief

Conservatives are hoping right-wing courts will intervene to deny debt relief to tens of millions of borrowers.

If the GOP wants to permanently lose a large voting block, this is a good way to do it.

Oh, but I know...(not from you @Road Ratt ), the majority of those taking student loans are already dimmocraps!!! Derp derp.

Yes, politically speaking, having the court take away the $10k might be very helpful for Democrats.

Evidence a college education is important, even though expensive:

WHITE:
Not college graduate Want Trump to run 46% Do not 46%
WHITE:
College graduate Want Trump to run 15% Do not 81%

Sounds like you're saying uneducated people prefer trump.

That seems to track...

Maybe that's why Republicans are going to court to try and block student loan relief.

Hell of an election platform. End social security. No debt relief for students. Make people pay more for insulin. But hey, scary brown people and trans women in restroom!

In true democrat fashion they are now rolling back loan forgiveness for anyone who consolidated into a private loan, which up till Thursday was actually recommended on the fed web site. Democrats come up with good ideas but by the time anything is implemented it's basically worse than if they did nothing

Yep. The further crazy the right moves, the more corporate the left moves...

And the people just eat it up, because hey, it's MY team.

This is another example of why voting for Democrats who stand for "making deals" over all else is a horrible idea.
