Dame isn't re-signing. Post trade ideas now. :MARIS61:

Well, Dame is, presumably, pretty close to himself. And Portland doesn't keep around people he's close to. Ergo, ipso facto, Portland won't keep Lillard around. QED.

Dame was closest to JJ Hickson and Jared Jeffries his rookie year, close with Mo and Earl Watson last season

Obviously the trend is towards smaller friends. Blazers just need to be sure to retain the ball boys after next season.

I cant find the mo tweet but this tweet by dame comes on the heels of a mo tweet calling out the blazers for not offering him a good contract.

Well he didn't say that. What he said was:

So here's the All-Testicles team IMHO:

PG Damian Lillard
SG Kobe Bryant (even though I hate him...)
SF Kevin Durant
PF Lebron James
C Marc Gasol (no Dwight.. you have no balls...)

Lillard's game is nothing like Iverson's. No one will confuse him with AI.

WTF is Marc Gasol doing on the American team?!

I'd replace Kobe with Melo and move KD to SG.

And I'd replace Gasol with one of the most clutch players in the last decade: Nowitzki. Or even Bosh.

Man I absolutely hate Melo's game. The guy is an incredible offensive player but everything else about the guy sucks. Plays zero defense, doesn't get many assist, not a good team player and doesn't make his teammates around him better (which is the number 1 reason his teams always seem to lose). I would take Kobe at 80% rather than Melo at 100%. Sorry just my opinion.

I think y'all are missing the premise. This is the all-testicle team. As in guys I want taking the last shot.

I guess it depends on how you look at it. I took it as the guy who would step up his game no matter what the situation is offense or defense. Offensively Melo is special but in a 1 dimensional way ;)

USA basketball point guard competition a tight one

LAS VEGAS – Damian Lillard sized up Bradley Beal on the left wing on Wednesday, the shot clock winding down as his jab step rose up.

It came in a flash, the right foot of the Portland Trailblazers point guard lashing out at the Washington Wizards shooting guard and forcing him onto his heels. With Team USA managing director Jerry Colangelo just a few feet away – his legs crossed at center court as he sat in his folding chair – Lillard rose up through that space he had created for a 3-pointer that left the many onlookers inside UNLV's Mendenhall Center amazed and entertained. And this, mind you, is the guy who may not even make this star-studded team.

As Colangelo detailed in an interview with USA TODAY Sports, the most likely plan would be to have two pure point guards and three shooting guards who also have the ability to play the other wing positions. If that tentative plan holds true, then – per Colangelo's descriptions of the roster that he'll form with coach Mike Krzyzewski and his staff – it appears that Wall or Irving are likely to be on the outside looking in.

No idea why Lillard would start over CP3 on this weird testicles team

That horrible game against the Thunder at the end aside, Chris Paul is a killer and I hate going against him.

If we ignore the points against my argument, then my argument makes perfect sense!

Really? One game is "the points against the argument?"

Really what RoyToy should have said is "That horrible game against the Thunder at the end notwithstanding," because one game is in no way a meaningful counter-argument. That game should be counted, as should all of Paul's games, and he's still a killer.
