How dare you present facts panzer to people like Chuck. That might prove him to be an "idiot". To Sorr, I guess you forgot about plays in the Washington playoff series a couple of years ago where he beat Holtby twice with a shot with no screen. Honestly, you can't 'make up the stupidity with MDZ and our fans at this point. Part of the reason the Rangers are despised around hockey is because a lot of their fans act like they have a wealth of knowledge when in reality, they know jack. I listened for years about how Renney was a great coach. Now Torts when he got here was a great coach for our team. There was no accountability under Renney. However, Torts problem was he wouldn't change a few things. He never kept lines together and played a non attacking system. That ultimately doomed him. However, it says something about MDZ that Vancouver is interested in him. Amazing how every team has interest in MDZ but according to a ton of our fans, he sucks.

You MDZ guys are comical. The guy is a bad dman in his own zone. He is soft on the boards. He cannot shoot for an offensive dman. He is a yo yo with his play up and down. Just stop the BS already.

If you guys would re-sign him for that type of deal, good for you. I happen to think that is insane. And AGAIN I feel that way because of his up and down play AND the fact that we have some good young dmen ready to come up soon.

And lastly, for the 10000000000000000 time, I would NOT give him away. I only deal DZ for a good solid scoring winger that we badly need. I know that is difficult for some to comprehend. I know that somehow = me saying I would deal MDZ at all costs, but that is NOT what I am saying.

1. I would NOT re-sign him for that type of deal this summer.
2. We have some good young dmen ready to come up and step in, so we can afford to deal a dman for some scoring.
3. I would only deal MDZ for good value. A good solid scoring winger.

Understand that guys, and let's not spin the BS.

And stupid NON-FACTUAL comments from dump like "amazing teams want MDZ when according to our fans he sucks", shows YET AGAIN that dump is a moron. I am not saying he sucks. I am saying he is soft in the corners, and inconsistent. That is MDZ. No doubt he has value. And no doubt he can be a dman that can move the puck and score some points from the BL.

Which is yet again why I only deal him for good value. A good scoring winger, which we need.

And the ONLY reason dump keeps bringing this up. And dump keeps dragging me into this ridiculous waste of time discussion for the 7000000000000000000 time over the past 3 seasons, is he was wrong so he does what dump does and tries to belittle people and call them morons thinking they will eventually give up so in his small mind he can say I won that one. That is why he continually distorts the facts on MDZ between him and I. That is why he continually starts these ridiculous discussions between us on MDZ, just like he did here. I wasn't even in this thread at all. And then AS USUAL dump has to make some ridiculous comment towards me about MDZ, and away we go again. It is what dump does, because saying I WAS WRONG is not an option for him...LOL.

Now I am done talking about MDZ period end of story. People know how I have felt about him for 3 years now. People know where I stand now. And no made up BS spewed by dump will change that.

I notice you didn't point out Staal's idiotic penalty with 4 minutes left. Seems you turn the other way with every player on the team except MDZ. I'm not against trading him if you think Nash will be a long term problem. However, you blame the failures of the team on one guy consistently which is absurd.

Basically, Brooks is a moron with almost no hockey knowledge. His work in his own end has been better overall than Girardi and Staal as a whole this season Larry. Don't think that isn't going to play into his minutes getting limited.

I think you will get your wish Chuck with MDZ getting dealt. Mostly because the Oilers are stupid and will probably allow Sather to rip them off as always.

I hope we rip off Edmonton as well. And I do think we make a deal with them. That team is a mess on D, and they need to start winning now or they will all be gone. MDZ in a package for some O. Makes perfect sense with the Oilers.

As for Staal, yeah he has not played well at times this season. Okay, I have no issue saying that. I just know his body of work is really good and he will get where he needs to be.

And I did not start this MDZ stuff in this thread. I wasn't even in this thread until you called me out in it. So get you stuff straight please dump. And I most certainly do not blame all the issues on MDZ DUMP 50 guys...LOL.

Whatever Brooks says, just take the opposite and you will be correct 95% of the time. Brooks should have retired 5 years ago. He hated Torts so AV will do no wrong as far as Brooks is concerned. He will kiss this guys butt all season.

Agree on Brooks, but it does make a lot of sense for us to deal with the Oilers. And they have to add some D. It is not good for them right now, and they need to start winning games. Their D is awful. And having the # 1 pick every season gets old when you stink every season anyway.
