I didn't see a thread discussing the no-class fans in Houston chanting, "Blazers Suck".

What a bunch of freak'n dumbshits.
 
I thought they were saying "Portland Sucks". I was hoping more of the Blazers shutting them up...but alas, it didn't happen (although close).
 
The truth hurts, doesn't it?
We did suck for about 3/4ths of that game.
Very ugly game.
Hopefully, we adjust and get a W on Sunday!
 
Nearly every playoff game I've seen so far the crowds have done a similar chant. Lakers crowd did it, Utah did it, New Orleans had one, I think Portland had one "These refs suck", so it's not uncommon.
 
$100 bucks says that our fans chant "Rockets Suck" and/or "Houston sucks" in game 5.
 
I love it! That's the playoff atmosphere baby!
 
I'm actually happy the Rockets fans were chanting, because there's nothing more boring than watching a game where the fans aren't into it.
 
Yeah, these things make it better. I think years ago Portland was playing Phoenix in the playoffs and a Phoenix fan had a sign that said, "Portland fans have stupid signs." The next game that was in Portland, a Portland fan had a sign that read, "Phoenix signs have stupid fans." I love the playoffs. We're all a part of this madness!
 
I was at the game, and it was Portland Sucks!!!!

I loved it because it was absolutely playoff atmosphere. I also loved the beginning of the game where the arena announcer came to 1/2 court and was screaming at the fans to be loud......it worked. I also loved the tributes to Motumbo.....it got the crowd fired up as well.


The big screen showed hilites of the Rockets, and made sure they had Joel flopping a couple of times which also got the crowd fired up.

Yeah....and without chanting the other team sucks.

I've been to a lot of games over the years, and I've never been to a game, or saw a game on TV, where the Portland crowd did that. I've heard them get after the refs before, but not the other team.

The difference is.. Our crowd doesnt need that.. thats what I love about here.

Our fans yelled Lakers suck a few times just this year.. even when Rudy was down after the fall.. which was lame IMO.
 
I wish our crowd would get even CRAZIER! Like Duke!

The Blazers should show footage of Scola flopping, and Yao getting away with fouls. ;)
 
You guys don't understand. Rockets fans at the games are usually extremely quiet. Outside of the Red Rowdies, everyone stays seated. It's good to see them get into the game like that.

Yeah, but I think every fanbase has that problem. We just happen to have a very active forum and we have to take the good with the bad.
 
I thought I heard and Oden Sucks too going on... maybe not. Who cares though... it is playoffs... they paid for the tickets... let em have fun. It is all good for the NBA.

What's wrong with a crowd chanting that the opposing team sucks? IMO, it's no worse than booing opposing players or teams.

It's harmless fun and is part of making a road game a hostile environment for the opposing team.

I suppose then we should have cheered when Mutumbo went down, and laughed at him when he was taken out on a stretcher, like that insane-o Rockets fan thought we'd done.

No wonder he thought that; if Rockets fans act like such swollen assholes during the playoffs, he must have thought everyone was like that.
