OT Black Man In Minnesota Dies After Cop Kneels On His Neck/ Portland Riots (2 Viewers)

Welcome to our community

I don't think I saw anybody on here say that.

Who said I said someone said that? Just making a statement. No different than I would, and have made, about the posts and memes going around social media portraying Blacks as lawless animals for looting, when there are Whites and others doing the same thing.

Maybe I should go back and clarify that I wasn't addressing anyone in here. More so some of the social media tweets and memes I see flying around.

I'm just saying my opinion is it would do us all better if we focus on the specific ones instead of lumping all together.

@SlyPokerDog had a good point too though about how cops who may not partiscipate, but still cover for those that do and that is not good.

Not saying there isn't a wide spread issue. Just saying individuals are still individuals. Not trying to counter what anyone might have said in here.

You know, I'm completely at a loss as to why the other 3 weren't charged today. The other angle was released yesterday and I didn't realize two other guys were kneeling on him as well.

The DA said that they're still investigating charges for the other three.

The burden of evidence to charge a cop is much, much higher than anyone else, at least in this country. I'm honestly extremely surprised even this guy has been charged.

Definitely the same guy/real

But the man in the “Make Whites Great Again” hat above is not Chauvin. This photograph actually shows Jonathan Riches, a supporter of U.S. President Donald Trump who is also a former federal inmate and an online troll who has garnered a reputation for filing lawsuits.

Riches confirmed to us that he’s the person in this photograph, but claimed that the “Make Whites Great Again” slogan on this hat was photoshopped:

It is a little disturbing that violence seems to thrill you

The community is doing it to themselves. Its fascinating the self-destructive nature of the people there. I'm pro-violence to get one's point across.

I think its better than peaceful protests or changing your profile picture or putting a ribbon on or whatever the fuck people do.

However, I also believe they should crack down hard on the destruction.

Did you see that Snopes link, where the actual person in the photo admitted it was him?

No, but it looks just like him. If it's not him it's his twin

Curious as to where that thought of violence gets more done, comes from? Just trying to understand, as a person who believe all violence leads to more violence. I understand defending ones life or the life of another with violence, but if a life is not actively threatened, i'm not so sure it does any good at all.

For example in terrorism. Not only is it a near 100% failure rate, it usually leads to strengthening the opposition they tried to terrorize.

I do agree though, it is fascinating how humans behave, and to watch all of this unfold. Its like driving by a bad car accident over and over again. Cant help but just stare lock jawed in amazement.

Terrorism is intended to cause terror. When there are terrorist attacks on the US, they were indeed effective. Then they got bombed back to the stone ages in retaliation.

As far as violence getting more done, I just think its more honest than people marching in protest. If you're angry, destroying something is a better coping mechanism than shouting.

They did get their point across and the cop did get arrested, though he might of any way.
