I am going to ask you because I think you are pretty sensible and won't attack as a first response;

Do you really think all this is just going to go way and disappear like that if Biden is elected to office in November? The Covid will still be around and will be in the Second Wave, well into the beginning of his term. If he orders lock downs across the country, riots will happen as they are now. How will he stop it? Will it be okay for him to bring in the National Guard? If he opens everything up the death rate is going to sky rocket, hospitals will be overwhelmed, people with Non-Covid Symptoms will die and doctors and nurses will die themselves, either due to getting Covid or suicide due to the enormous amount of stress.

To think that he is the magical solution and everything is going to return to as it once was is in my opinion irresponsibly ignorant.

We are in the End Game. All you can do is buckle up and try to survive.

I was referring to the riots not Covid. These riots would have probably happened no matter who was president. It has been building up for a while. I do think Trump played a role in the volcano finally erupting.

Covid doesn't care who the president is, it will be here just the same. Again, I think Trump fucked up in dealing with it. He denied its danger too long. He hasn't done much to help with either matter.

Our country needs a president who can bring people together. I honestly don't think Trump has done or will do that.

With Covid he waited to long and failed to take needed measures because he didn't want to admit fault. In the wake of these protests he is on the attack going after Democrats and saying he is going to send the military in to shoot everyone. That is not what we need right now. Not more fuel on an already out of control fire. We need a sensible voice unifying us. Representing all of us. Trump is not that voice. He refuses to be. Maybe he just can't be. I accept that.

He will be forced to bring in the national guard everywhere if this continues and it will and it will get worse. Is it ok too to do that? It won't matter.

The numbers of covid infections death rates will go up now anyway with these protests. Sky hi. We were starting to open slowly as this was happening. Some states were being Irresponsible in opening to quick. But, yes we needed to open. Our economy is buckling. Businesses are closing, social security is being eaten up, schools are going to millions less. I face the prospect of getting laid off in the fall.

There is no magical answer. I don't blame Trump merely for inaction. There was not a lot he could do to stop these protests (He did pull back restrictions on police officers) but he is an ineffective leader and he has and will continue to fail to unify us, because he doesn't have the ability. Maybe that is not his faults. His DNA just doesn't have that soft side, let's come together koombiya peace, or maybe he does and is afraid to show it.
