OT Black Man In Minnesota Dies After Cop Kneels On His Neck/ Portland Riots

My buddy had a convertible. The bass kicked really hard for some reason, like he just had a small tube in there with 2 10"s and it sounded much louder than that. I believe it was a Collins subwoofer system or something.

Never heard of Collins subwoofers but there are so many mfg. now days. I probably had close to 7 or 8 different subs in my Navigator system before settling on the Oz, which to me is one of the best car subs made. I had a Diamond Audio Maxdaddy sub, Eclipse, Phoenix Gold, Bostons. Ed sub and a few others I don't recall what brand.

I was always a JL Audio x Precision Power Amp with MB Quart Satellites

I’m against the corruption too, and one death is always one too many. That goes for so many things too, gang violence, illegal immigrants, police brutality, etc.

My daughter is mixed, you think I want her to deal with police brutality? Of course not. However, I don’t want her to fear speaking to the police either, I still believe the VAST majority of police officers want to help anybody regardless of race.

No doubt that the corrupt ones are in the minority, but there have been way too many incidents and it needs to stop as well as any violent acts against police officers. The idiot we have in charge is clueless and encourages violence and does nothing to try and bring this country closer together.

One person can’t bring the country together, it’s gonna take an effort to actually talk to each other respectfully. Stop putting partisan politics into conversation and listen to each other, hug each other, love each other. We are all Americans.

The country will never come together. The only thing that would bring it together temporarily is a mass casualty event. Then we have "MURRICA THIS" and people will have flags on their profiles or some other bullshit.

I can still hope at least

I'm still predicting violence from outside forces in the near future at protest. I mean moreso, but probably on a grand scale.

I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boogaloo_movement

The boogaloo movement, members of which are often referred to as boogaloo boys or boogaloo bois, is a loosely organized American far-right extremist movement.[3][4][5] Members of the boogaloo movement say they are preparing for a coming second American Civil War, which they call the "boogaloo".[3][6] Members use the term to refer to violent uprisings against the federal government or left-wing political opponents, often anticipated to follow government confiscation of firearms.[1][7]

The movement consists of anti-government and anti-law enforcement groups, as well as white supremacist groups who specifically believe the unrest will be a race war.[3][1][7] Groups in the boogaloo movement primarily organize online (particularly on Facebook), but have appeared at in-person events including the 2020 United States anti-lockdown protests and the May 2020 George Floyd protests, often identified by their attire of Hawaiian shirts and military fatigues.[1][8][9]

Members of boogaloo groups typically believe in accelerationism, and support any action that will speed impending civil war and eventually the collapse of society.[4][6] According to The Economist, to this end boogaloo group members have supported the "spreading of disinformation and conspiracy theories, attacks on infrastructure (such as that on New York’s 311 line) and lone-wolf terrorism."[4] Some boogaloo groups are also white supremacist and specifically believe that the "boogaloo" will be a race war,[3][1][7] but there are others that condemn racism.[14] Attempts by some elements of the Boogaloo movement to support anti-racist groups, such as Black Lives Matter, have been met with wariness and skepticism.[15]

Harvard social scientist Joan Donovan, told The Washington Post that "Boogaloo group members had shown particular ability to insert themselves into events started by others, a tactic called "stream sniping." Common in the world of Internet gaming, it refers to interrupting someone else’s live stream to bring attention to yourself and to provoke authorities to appear on the scene".[13]

Some members of the movement claim that the group and its ideology are nothing more than online jokes, however, law enforcement and researchers maintain that people connected to the groups have been implicated in plans to commit real-world violence.[16][17] The Tech Transparency Project has observed that, while public posts on boogaloo Facebook pages tend to be satirical, members of private boogaloo groups "exchang[e] detailed information and tactics on how to organize and execute a revolt against American authorities." Some of the private groups ban the sharing of memes to keep conversation focused on serious topics.[12] The NCRI has also commented on the mix of serious and joking content, writing, "This ambiguity is a key feature of the problem: Like a virus hiding from the immune system, the use of comical-meme language permits the network to organize violence secretly behind a mirage of inside jokes and plausible deniability."[2]

According to the non-profit Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI), groups belonging to the boogaloo movement organize on mainstream online platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Reddit, as well as on more obscure platforms such as 4chan.[1][11] Bellingcat identifies Facebook as a particularly important platform for the movement, and that the movement numbers in the tens of thousands.[18] The NCRI researchers also estimate the movement to have tens of thousands of members.[2]

I'd honestly say most people who say fuck the cops live in areas where there are fucked up cops....I'm fortunate to have really good police force locally that is patient and involved in our community....ain't like that everywhere...that's the problem with blanket statements about human behavior

I always figured they have had run in with cops and blame the police instead of taking responsibility for their actions.

Mattis denounces Trump in blistering statement on protests
https://thehill.com/homenews/admini...ces-trump-in-blistering-statement-on-protests
“I have watched this week’s unfolding events, angry and appalled,” Mattis wrote in a statement to The Atlantic. “Donald Trump is the first president in my lifetime who does not try to unite the American people—does not even pretend to try. Instead, he tries to divide us,” Mattis writes. “We are witnessing the consequences of three years of this deliberate effort. We are witnessing the consequences of three years without mature leadership. We can unite without him, drawing on the strengths inherent in our civil society. This will not be easy, as the past few days have shown, but we owe it to our fellow citizens; to past generations that bled to defend our promise; and to our children.”

On December 20, 2018, after failing to convince Trump to reconsider his decision to withdraw all American troops from Syria, Mattis announced his resignation effective February 28, 2019. Trump later accelerated the departure date to January 1, stating he had essentially fired him.

so? doesn't make anything he says less true.
edit: just another voice of condemnation coming from the conservative side of things. is becoming a long list.

Yeah, I'm certain you're all over this thing. Sometimes, though, you never know about so-called sour grapes. It's all good.
