And that's an understatement.

And the worst part is that's for the last three years. Notice how Whites have gone down and Blacks have gone up?

Based off of these stats, it's irrefutable to say that Blacks aren't disproportionately killed by police and there isn't a problem.

Curious? Are you saying that because Black people kill Black people, we shouldn't focus on our armed forces killing Black people disproportionately?

Because it seems to me they are two separate issues not really tied to one another. Other than maybe Blacks killing Blacks is out of hopelessness and despair because they are being slaughtered? Not saying that's rational, but its human nature to not care when all hope is lost.

Seems to me, Blacks need help in their own communities to help rebuild friendly neighborhoods, but that will never happen until they are feeling equal and that will never happen until law enforcement gets a grip on this issue(among other things). That's about the extent of the tie in my opinion.

Otherwise, Blacks killing Blacks seems pretty irrelevant to Cops killing Blacks.

We are discussing the police and the treatment of Black people. Now, if you really want to get into everything it’s a big, long, complicated situation that STILL is about institutional racism. Black on black crime yes, it exists. It sucks. It’s bad. But the police are sworn in to protect and serve. Not murder.

My quote above that provides the stats, or math, doesn't divide what race the cops are.. Just that they are cops, so the percent of cops that are White would be irrelevant in this case. ...well, for starters, people can start showing police with "dignity and respect"....are there bad cops?...of course there are. But there are also bd doctors, bad lawyers, bad politicians, etc., etc.,

But cops, like teachers are grossly underpaid and the old adage of "you get what you pay for" applies here. If you want better cops/teachers, attract a better crop of both by paying them for the unappreciated jobs that they have.
