Of course I can expound, if I chose to...but considering your past comments to me, I have no desire to have a convo with you.

...don't like it?...don't care.

...now if CC chooses to quiz me, that's fine...as far as you, no way.
My past comments to you? How did I offend you? I didn't intend to. Just thought a discussion would be possible.

No, you seem to be looking for a confrontation...and I will not oblige you. You made a very unpleasant and judgmental comment to me a few months ago...and it was neither welcome nor appreciated.

...later.

I will look back on my interactions with you. I apologise now for anything I said that was unpleasant or judgemental. I was not looking for a confrontation in this instance.

Simple misunderstanding. I was only saying that I also shave in the shower. Wasn't trying to offend.

But thanks for the veiled insult.

It wasn't a "misunderstanding" by any means and if you can show where I insulted you somehow, I'll apologize.

But again, you saying to me that "Some feel that everything you say is out of line. Count me in that group." was not misunderstood, it was very direct and very clear how you felt.

Should have put the first sentence in green font. The second sentence was about shaving in the shower.

Tried to take it to private message. I didn't intend to offend.

And my response and/or quoting of your post in that thread was simply piggy backing on what you said...and not inflammatory at all. And the reason I had quoted your post was only because I had earlier in that same thread been given a ration of shit for simply saying that I shave and brush my teeth in the shower.

Regardless, hopefully we've come to an agreement.

I'm fine with moving on.

Proper police and Justice reform. What is the solution?

It's a tough conundrum, that's for sure. But cops aren't androids, they're human and like all humans, they're also flawed.

When I said "No" to CC's post it was because I think it would possibly make things even worse if we allowed people/suspects to think it was OK to be combative with cops.

Here's just once scenario; Cop has a gun, suspect is drunk and his blood alcohol content tell him that this would be a good time to kick a cop's ass...the cops who is fearing for his life, shoots and kills the suspect. And as we well know, if it's a white cop who kills a person of color, mayhem then ensues.

I don't necessarily disagree with you on this. My girlfriend and I just had a "fun" conversation on the same thing. She mentioned that 1 out of 11 homicides in California were by police. Which, I agree with her that I wish there were ZERO homicides, period. Her argument is that police shouldn't be armed because of this, which I disagree with.

Okay, let's try and be nicer to everyone in this thread and forum.

We have been through this before.

do you know what she did to cause the cops to restrain her?

did you see her breast get groped?

i didnt.
She then tried to resist arrest.
Then the cops used excessive force. But we dont know if she tried to assault them prior to being restrained.
You are free to turn a blind eye to some of the facts and only focus on other parts of the facts and call the rest irrelevant or symantics.
I care to call all of it evidence and focus on all of it, of which i commented on both in my initial statement you are trying to argue symantics over for your moral superiority(and then claim my post is symantics). And if it is, it must be scrutinized truthfully and honestly.
Sorry you are having a problem with my stance on that.

I never said i had a problem with it.

If trump says something completely racist (which he has done) but the verbage is just slightly off, it still makes what he said wrong, even if it isnt verbatim.

I do agree news should be 100% truthful... But if theres videos to catch their own lies, then I can make that discretion. I'm an adult with common sense. Lol.
