That's not actually The flag of the Confederacy. It's actually the battle flag of Virginia. For some reason, most Southerners now take this as the flag of the Confederacy. Maybe it's because Robert E. Lee's Army displayed that flag.

I know how police should behave. Getting them to conform to that is a problem. Getting others to recognize the value in what I believe proper behavior should be is also a hefty problem.
When you work this out, please let me know, just make it believable.

Here's a thought. How about banning somebody going around with snap diagnoses when they don't know jack shit what they are talking about?

Just a suggestion, but maybe you should explain to hobbes how his post is the one that started the shit and that it shouldn't be posted. :bgrin:

I had several encounters with police when I was younger because of the vehicles I drove. During the 70's I had a couple of custom show vans that were all decked out and had custom paint jobs, rims, interior and sound systems. My first van I was coming home from Labor Day weekend after spending a weeek at a lake in Washingto I use to go and hang out sking, drinking and partying. I was on the highway between Tenino and I-5 heading west to i-5 and it was Tuesday morning with zero traffic on the road. I see a car approaching me and passing by as it was a state trooper heading the opposite direction. Next thing I know the cop turns around and starts heading back my way and eventually pulls up behind me and turned his lights on. He told me he was making a routine inspection and wanted to check my registration form with the vin number of my van. The interior was completely customized and he informed me that a spare tire brace I cut out so i could finish the interior was where the vin number was stamped and stated if he couldn't find another number on my van he was going to confiscate it and it would be sent to the yard to be crushed and disposed. He eventually found another place where the number was stamped so he couldn;t do anything. Now being a young 19 year old kid that was pretty intimidating and I doubt he would have done anything if I was just driving a stock vehicle but vanners were looked negatively by law enforcement as rebels. When I got home and told my dad he was livid.

Another time was I was pulled over with my next van and I had louvered inserts in the back window which made it difficult to see in but as a driver I could easily see out due to the angle of the louvers. The cop tried to tell me the window louvers were illegal and I had no way of seeing out the back. I informed him that I use my side view mirrors and that there are vans mfg. without any windows and they are legal. He kind of sheepishly mumbled something and made some smart ass remark and sent me on my way.

I hate liars thst not only cant own up to their actions/behavior, but actively lie about it.

just the worst type of person. Zero respect for people like that who lie to try to make others look bad when they cant own up to their behavior....
