One guy in the group gave the “F— you” sign to the flag with both middle fingers while it burned. The rest of them gathered around and chanted, “America was never great!” This topped their despicable performance in Portland, when they pulled down a statue of George Washington, set the American flag on fire and threw it over Washington’s head. Let’s face it: BLM is a hate group. They hate this country. They hate capitalism. They hate white people. They hate our flag. They hate our leaders. They’re all about hate. I believe they are setting race relations back in a big way, which is a shame. They had a great opportunity to change minds and win people to their side, but they are throwing it all away in this ongoing hatefest.

There is this strange notion, amongst bigots it seems, that they need to rubber stamp change, like if we just figure out a way to somehow someway convince the racists to let us make things right, then things will get done. What an unfathomably idiotic notion. I think I speak for most in saying that I give no fucks about the hearts of racist. Seems like an oxymoron anyhow.

While I certainly sympathize with you, I'm not sure I can go that far.
 
What outrages people.

Not 130,000 dead, 3 million infected and response of federal government is not only do nothing but sabotage efforts to control pandemic.

Not Russia takes out bounties on American soldiers and response of federal government is not only to do nothing but to insist it's not happening and don't even investigate.

Not 30 million unemployed and response of federal government is no more stimulus but millions of taxpayers money supposed to go to keep small businesses afloat went to Trump associates and cabinet members, including billionaires like Betsy DeVos.

Not unarmed Black people shot and strangled and response of federal government to mass protests is to demand monuments to traitors stand and traitor flag fly.

No, outrage is a few dozen people who might or might not have some connection to Black Lives Matter torch a piece of cloth.

Taking cue from god emperor whose greatest outrage is over Saturday night live skits.

don't you just hate it when you have to explain a joke? I have to interpret jokes to my wife all the time, and it just kills the joke for me for months. Yeah, you're damn right I recycle jokes. There's not enough sarcasm and weak laughs in this country to just toss jokes away forever

I just don’t think the joke was very good. And I’m a dad. I got lots of lame dad jokes.

I have often state that if you have to explain the joke, it wasn't that funny...so I will admit, my joke wasn't actually that funny. It was snide at best. ;)

I've always thought whenever somebody has to explain the joke, it actually makes it FUNNIER!
