If he goes to the nets, he will fit right in with their no defense.
they’ll still most likely be in the finals :/

Does Blake come with the Melo baggage about forcefeeding him minutes? I'd love to sign him without any stipulations about role and legacy and whatever other bullshit. I think he can still play on the right team as a roll man who can make great reads and also initiate offense with shooters around him. But if he comes with the expectation of restoring his value by playing him 30 mpg regardless of how he's performing, I'd look elsewhere.
hey we did land melo. And enes once chose us after his buyoutShams is saying everyone thinks he’s going to the Nets. Makes sense. Good for them. Maybe one day we’ll get nice things too.
The NBA because it's not even close to a valid trade.nurk for griffin

lol
I don't understand the appeal in Brooklyn. They desperately need size and rim protection. They have enough offense. I mean, I get it for him-- he gets to be in NY and in the limelight again with three stars, but not sure I see why they would go after him.
Blake isn't helping them stop Embiid in the playoffs.
disagree with that onePhilly isn’t a threat to a healthy Nets team either way.
disagree with that one
Trade:
Atlanta sends us John Collins PF and Rondo PG
Portland sends Simons and Hood and enticing draft pick
ATL is a mess right now and this move helps with our win-now mode
Think it's more likely he pushes minutes from Nas/Gary and maybe Hood. Stotts favors veterans, especially ones that gave up something to come here.Seems to me, if we signed Giffin, he would be taking some of Melo's minutes.
The amount of slightly below average to slightly above average players we've got is already crazy high. If we ever get fully healthy (big if), there are going to be 3-4 decent players with will be getting DNPs. Playing 12 people every night is a horrible idea. Therefore, if we're going to sign Blake, we better be doing a 3 for 1 trade somewhere else.
As the roll man and the secondary decision maker when Dame gets trapped, I think Blake would THRIVE.
I just wish he wasn't a complete 0-fer on defense. But if he wasn't, he'd probably have way more suitors.
Brooklyn should make a run at Whiteside on the cheap.....they have a lot committed to big money contracts as isI don't understand the appeal in Brooklyn. Hood played for Cleveland after the Jazz if I'm not mistaken...I don't remember him in Atlanta but Hood is from Mississippi I believe and Ant is from Florida...both guys would be close to homeI too have thought of a deal that involved Collins, Rondo and Simons. Not sure they would want Hood back. Can we offer any 1st rounders? Multiple 2nds?
mmstop being a debbie downer!!!Portland fans get so excited to be mentioned in a Woj tweet.
They miss the other teams mentioned. Nets, Warriors, Heat and all better suited for Blake right now.
He ain't coming here.

What are the odds that Blake is pulling a Vince Carter and has been sand bagging?
Does Blake make the HOF with a championship on his resume?
