Blake Griffin injury

The biggest shift that occurs here IMO....

Now their starting back court is the tandem that is pressured to play D, and frees up Dame and CJ to focus more on making the offense flow. Paul is a scrappy defender but also forces us to defend the PG intensively... Rivers, not so much. The next step of this is that now our Combo of Aminu and Harkless match up very well against Mbah a Moute and Green.

Also keep in mind that the refs are nowhere near as forgiving with Rivers as they are with Paul. I have watched CP get away with murder on defense during this series.... Rivers, not so much.

Yeah, but also consider the refs have to call some fouls on the Clippers, and they have to make Dame at least feel like they're going to call some of the BS he's had to deal with. Who are they going to call hand check fouls on, CP3, or Austin Rivers? Now that Rivers is essentially filling CP3's spot, I would not be surprised if he all of a sudden gets treated like he is CP3.

I find it funny they allow so much handchecking rarely calling it.
But the one time I've seen Harkless put two forearms in Griffin's back below the FT line, instantly it was called a foul.(As it should be, but call it equal shit)

The amount of grabbing and holding CP gets away with is unprecedented. Outright outrageous. That's how he broke his finger for pete's sake. KARMA!
