LOL.

It's funny some posters like to troll when they've lost credibility based on past information they've posted/tried to break a story.
I dunno if it's anything to do with lost credibility. I just think he feels like somehow he's combating the homerishness by trolling. I suppose that's one way to enjoy life.

Steve Blake is the type of top level FAs we get here. When you're wrong you're wrong, and I was wrong

So maybe I missed something, but who actually said we were going to get a top flight free agent? Sure, it's fun to speculate about LeBron and Melo, etc, but who actually said that they were going to sign in Portland?

Homerism is also trolling.

Also the deal coming soon insults are funny to me. The comeback 2006 called and wants its joke back comes to mind.

Its like you hear something, try to be nice and pass it along, and get roasted when it doesn't happen. Odd to me

A few posters have told me that. Said we were a championship team and more high end free agents would come here to win a ring. Said olshey was a difference maker and would bring in top free agents.

Hmm... I never saw anyone actually say that we were going to sign someone like LeBron or Melo outright.

It obviously gets to you, so maybe if it stopped bothering you, people would stop using it to piss you off. It's like Zags and Adam Morrison.

Blake is a pro and a competitor. We need a back up PG and he is one. Great fit IMO. His attitude will benefit our team more than his game.

Oh not at all. It doesn't bother me. I just find it funny people keep briging it up as some sort of proof of credibility 8 years later

Also seems to be a post strictly meant to provoke which I thought was against the rules.

How is homerism trolling exactly? Because someone thinks to highly of their sports team is trolling? No. Mocking them and trying to get a rise out of people through your stupid shit certainly is.
Somehow you think you bring balance by dickish posts. You don't. You just bring dickish posts.
And I didn't drop the deal coming soon line. Whine to someone else about that. I wasn't around for it, and likely would have just appreciated the info if I was.

Obviously someone doesn't understand what a troll is. He's only goating you bro so he can whine and complain to the forum and mods for being attacked.

Just r e read the definition. Yes, homers can be a troll

Anyone can be a troll, but I disagree that someone is a troll simply because they're a blazer homer on a blazers forum. If you don't expect to see blindly faithful fans on the official forum of the Blazers (IE Mags), then I don't know what to tell you. That's like going to a hippy concert and not expecting to smell patchouli.

As do I. I dont think I said all homers are trolls. I simply said they can be and got attacked for it.

Dude, you came in here and made a strawman post about top flight free agents, which you knew was going to draw negative attention. Of course you were attacked for it.

Yup. Just ignore the fact that I'm going through the thread and cleaning it up. Roger that.

I don't see how papa g gets a perma ban and this guy can post this drivel over and over again. There comes a time when you must cut the chord.

I use the deal coming soon because you are such a "I told you so" kind of poster that is what I think about.

I think it's a great you tried to pass on information. I think the fact that try to come across that you ar bigger or better than blazer fans with your realistic attitude and than I told you so attitude, I just bring it back to reality that you don't know anything more than other Blazer fans. Sometimes you are wrong, sometimes you are right. . . and we will hear about it when you think you are right. Over and over and over . . .

And the award for "The poster that derails this thread" goes to MM. He needs to get another trophy case. His garage is already filled with these cups!

I don't see how anyone could poo-poo signing Blake to a reasonable contract, would be a good addition to the bench, can play a true PG role and is experienced.

Blake = Watson

If he wants to return, I wouldn't have a problem with him fulfilling that role.

Blake is better than Watson last year. I'd only sign him if Mo leaves

Dave McMenamin @mcten
Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak has also reached out to representatives for former PG Steve Blake, according to a league source

i'd take blake and billups if we get hawes or use our cap space on other positions. but ehhh. one year deals only to keep flexibility next year
