I nominate mook, on the off-chance that he's willing to moderate now. I know he hasn't been interested in the past.

Beyond that, Wheels and SlyPokerDog seem like good candidates. Wheels, though, seems to want it a bit too much...

I also think Nikolokolus would make a fine mod.
 
Personally I think Wheels should just be moved to the Blazers forum as well. I think he's a great mod...

But if we're looking to bring in some new blood, I'd say these are a few people I'd like to see:

Sly
Bgrantfan
 
We should settle the finalists for the mod position in a game of "Ultimate Submission".
 
So are we going to get a final poll to settle this? These are just the Ripcitytwo primaries, right?

Mook would be a great choice as well. Honestly if it's needed I would be willing to help out mod the blazers forum for a while but not sure if I would have enough time to watch over the ducks forum and this one permanately.... Still having computer problems and I'm hitting the really busy times at work until the end of winter. So I'm not sure I would be able to devote enough time to the busiest place on the site. I recommend some fresh blood to mod in here. If I remember right Nik declined a nomination last time so my nomination votes go to Sly and Mook.
 
Oh and gotta thank minstrel for all he/she does and has done on here. Offers a lot to this board and level headedness and very good reasoning. Hope you continue to post a lot here
 
What is the main criterion we are looking for? Someone who is on the board a lot? KingSpeed. Someone who will kick ass like a leader and provoke an increase in the number of posts? BGrantFan. I say we're looking for an unemployed bum with time on his hands, who is wimpy enough to stay neutral, and too dumb to argue with anyone, with a Little League basketball IQ. That's right, I'm putting out there...uh, I don't know of anyone like that.

And something is pissing me off. I've been calling Minstrel a her because it said a few times that it was, and now Denny say it's a he. What the fuck is it?

My preference for a mod would be a guy born in Kenya, great orator, experience as a community organizer, etc. Wait, that'd be the president.

But seriously, it's up to you all as a group to pick someone who you think has the best qualifications.
 
How presentable do you have to be?

Is it okay if you shave once every couple of weeks and take a shower once a month? I need to know.

Oh shit. Nowadays you have to show you're a citizen, right? I lost my birth certificate when the Navajo peace agreement accidentally burned up in the courthouse fire so they could hang the tribal leaders for practicing witchcraft. Sad story of history. Well, it was a territory then so I'm probably unemployable now anyway.
