When are the Ant/Grant glasses being offered?
If they aren't available at DQ, I don't want them!
There was a guy who would almost always be at the exit door I used most often while I had season tickets, and for some reason liked to give me large piles of chalupa coupons. IIRC the highest number he gave me was in the low forties. I don't think he ever gave me fewer than a dozen...I've seen people start to go out the door, get their Jamba Juice free drink coupon and then jump out of line and do it again. Glasses at the end would be a shit show.
Sure. But, they obviously worked with a sponsor before (DQ). Why not do it again?Again just want to point out...
For years it was believed that small market teams can't turn a profit.
That the Blazers only can lose money.
Our previous and current team presidents have changed this.
The Blazers are not a money pit
This is what a financially stable small market franchise looks like.
No more $5 t-shirts and fewer giveaways.
At the same time the Moda is being maintained and improved.
And the Blazers are addressing one of the fans biggest complaints, being able to watch the team on TV.
Would I like some of these glasses? Sure.
Upset that I can't? Nah.

Idk about Blazers marketing, but they do have a team store online. If they couldn't find a sponsor, they could put some there. I still have 4 or 5 of the old ones, and would like some new ones. Willingness to pay isn't the issue. Access is.Maybe DQ didn't want to do it again? I can think of at least 5 that have closed in the Portland area the last 10 years.
I don't know anything about Blazer marketing but maybe their deal with McDonald's precludes doing a promotion like this with other fast food restaurants.
Maybe the Blazers just want to get butts in seats.

I'm not upset that I can't get it. I'm upset they tie it to going to a game. You already fuck us with the prices and the concessions, at least let something be for the fans and not about them gouging us or the need to gouge us just to get an item (I never go to any sport events solely for the giveaway. Fools do that).
"And if they fuck you
There will be no foreplay
Rest assured
They'll screw you complete
Till your ass is blue and grey" (Make Yourself, Incubus)
Over and over and over.
Come on Uncle Phil... Offer $4B
F = P(1+i)^N, so
F = P(1+i)^N, so
3500 = 70(1+i)^(2024-1988)
50 = (1+i)^36
i = 50^(1/36) - 1
i = 11.5%
So, the Paul Allen estate averaged 11.5% on their initial Blazers investment. That assumes they put all of the 47% of the salary cap each year (or whatever the owners get) back into the team. I have no idea if they did that. Also, 11.5% would be great for you and I, but I don't know whether it's great on such a large investment.
Maybe it was cash equivalent assets of $900 million
"with any purchase of $2 or more."When I was there for opening night they were selling 1 hotdog for $8 or 2 for $10.
Tickets for the Blazer Glasses games start at $34.
And if the Blazers score over 100 points you get free McNuggies.

PORTLAND, Ore. (October 28, 2024) – The Portland Trail Blazers have announced a new commemorative glassware series featuring Donovan Clingan, Scoot Henderson, and Shaedon Sharpe throughout the 2024-25 season. The collectible glasses will be available to the first 7,777 fans attending select home games at Moda Center.
This throw-back promotion became an instant fan-favorite when originally introduced in the early 90's and remained popular when a new series of collectible glasses was re-introduced during the 2013-14 season. The organization is excited to bring this fan-favorite back featuring three current Trail Blazers players for Rip City to celebrate.
The Commemorative Glassware Series Schedule:
To guarantee receiving the entire three-glass set, fans can purchase a Blazers Collectible Glasses Flex Pack, which includes tickets to all three games, plus all three collectible glasses by visiting Trailblazers.com/ticket-packs or by calling 844-RIP-CITY. Thank you for this detailed information. They look really nice.
I might be going to those games alone so I'll see if my carpool dummy (no offense intended) can get me an extra glass.

She have a sister that likes hot dogs?
The level of entitlement in this forum is crazy. Proof here. Which is a bit surprising considering the ages of most of the regulars. This is the same as having a bobble head etc night like every sports franchise does.
Taco Bell? Micky D's?Maybe DQ didn't want to do it again? I can think of at least 5 that have closed in the Portland area the last 10 years.
